Don't Compete; Don't Compare

Those who live their life based on competition never have a good story to tell because it never comes out well for them. Why compare your success with someone all because we are of the same age, why compete with someone because we finish secondary school together? Whoever said that everyone has to be in the same lane because they were born at the same time, date, and day? Who said everyone has to be on the same line or celebrate the same thing because we all finished school at the same time?

A friend would always say, nobody is my mate, even if we were born at the same time, and the same date, there is something that differentiates us, and as such nobody is my mate. They could be my colleagues, peers, work buddies, or whatever you wish to tag them but not age mates because these "age mate" tags have sent many to their early graves.

Even the God who created us knew that everyone can never be on the same level, it is recorded in the Bible, so why compare, why compete with someone because you both did a particular thing together?

And I ask if we are all doing a comparison and competing measures, what happens to comparing and competing with those who are dead but the same age as us? Why do we let unnecessary things bother us, why do we carry a load that we weren't supposed to carry just because we are trying to get to our "mates level or standard?

Please who made the standards? Humans or God? Comparison and competition will make one feel either inferior or superior but then, God does not honour anyone of those because he didn't create you to come and compete or compare yourself with anyone. He created us to come and live and shine I'm our different dimensions and as much as we can without being a competitor or comparison business, there is no gain.

Line your life, and attain your goals not because someone else did but because you have passion and love to do it, that is what life is about, not everyone can be on the same page, it makes life boring and not spicy enough.
