A grateful heart

When I think of where you brought me from and where I am today, I want to testify because you have been so good to me. When I think of how far I have come and how far I will go and how far I will go, I want to testify, because you have been so good to me.

When I think about my challenges, my struggles, the storms, the waves, the hot scorching sun, the sleepless nights, the frustrating and stressful days, I want to testify, because you have been so good to me. When I think about the times I feel depressed, frustrated, self-hate, and hateful of myself and the world, I want to testify, for you have been so good to me.

When I think about the days I thought about giving up on myself, giving up on the world, and losing my goals and vision for my life, I want to testify, for you have been so good to me.

When I think about your protection, your coverage, your supply of all my needs, your loving kindness, your tender mercies, your shield upon my life and that of my family and friends, I want to testify for the Lord you have been so good to me.

When I think about the battles you've fought for me, and when I think about how you always think about me and love me, I want to testify for you have been so good to me. You have been my keeper, my defender, my present help in times of need, my lion of the tribe of Judah, I want to testify, for you have been so good to know.

Lord, you are everlasting, you are Emmanuel, you have been so good to me. I am grateful Lord for all that you've done to me, been to me, and will be to me. You have always been God to me since inception, so regardless of the turbulence, I will always be grateful for all that you've done in my life.
