“Eres un hipócrita engreído Leaf” le gritaban una y otra vez, los que veían comer a Leonardo Fernández alias “LEAF” en el restaurante de pizzas, que se encontraba justo a la vuelta de la casa donde creció y en el barrio que lo vio convertirse en este hombre de aspecto agradable que se encontraba a segundos de perder la paciencia.

¿Por qué tantos detractores? Nadie lo sabe, solo el éxito llegó, el sonido retumbó en cada esquina y la esencia de un cantautor fue llenando los hogares.

Si le pregunta, él les dirá: “Solo quise vivir un sueño, la fama es un plus”, pero lo cierto es que hagas lo que hagas siempre serás señalado.

"You're a smug hypocrite Leaf" shouted at him over and over again, those who watched Leonardo Fernandez aka "LEAF" eat at the pizza restaurant, which was located just around the corner from the house where he grew up and in the neighborhood that saw him become this nice looking man who was seconds away from losing his patience.

Why so many detractors? No one knows, only success came, the sound echoed on every corner and the essence of a singer-songwriter was filling homes.

If you ask him, he will tell you: "I just wanted to live a dream, fame is a plus", but the truth is that whatever you do you will always be singled out.

La humildad no es una característica común entre los que encabezan la lista de posicionamiento de la música “Rising Star”, pero nuestro amigo no es como cualquier otro, posee criterio, disfruta de lo hace, no le teme al fracaso y prefiere pasar el tiempo en el campo conectando con su ser, que vivir en una ciudad donde todos parecen estar en competencia insana.

Quizás su actitud relajada y en plena paz los engañe, pero ese chico no siempre fue y es así. Como humano común de este terrenal y angustioso planeta aprendió a enfocar su energía en lo importante, y aunque las cosas le afecten no se derrumba, a fin de cuentas la tierra no es solo de quien la merece, sino de quien la consigue.

Humility is not a common trait among those at the top of the "Rising Star" music ranking list, but our friend is not like anyone else, he has criteria, enjoys what he does, is not afraid of failure and prefers to spend time in the countryside connecting with his being, rather than living in a city where everyone seems to be in unhealthy competition.

Maybe his relaxed and peaceful attitude deceives you, but this guy was not and is not always like that. As a common human of this earthly and distressed planet he learned to focus his energy on what is important, and although things affect him he does not fall apart, after all, the earth does not belong only to those who deserve it, but to those who get it.

¿Cuándo consiguió la fama? Solo pensó en ir en contra de la avaricia y hacerle caso a lo que le gritaba el corazón. La música es un mundo extraño y, Leaf no quería sumergirse en aguas que a la larga cambiarían de corriente y si se hundía nadie estaría allí para rescatarlo.

Se rindió más de una vez y aunque todo fue en la quietud de su apartamento con su amada a espaldas de su angustia, la vida le enseñó que a veces no queda otro camino que resistir y persistir.

Su amada es una diosa sin igual, una mujer que a ojos de todos era una más, pero en los de él, era un pilar que lo sostenía y levantaba, sin ella la vida tendría sentido. pero con ella sería un universo sin igual, por eso mientras lo veía sufrir en silencio mientras miraba un hermoso paisaje y se culpaba por no lograr lo que quería, le ofreció una dosis de realidad que puso su pies en la tierra y su mirada en el inmenso éxito.

When did he achieve fame? He only thought of going against greed and listening to what his heart was screaming at him. Music is a strange world and, Leaf didn't want to dive into waters that would eventually change current and if he sank no one would be there to rescue him.

He gave up more than once and although it was all in the quiet of his apartment with his beloved on the back of his anguish, life taught him that sometimes there is no other way but to resist and persist.

His beloved is a goddess without equal, a woman who in everyone's eyes was just one more, but in his, she was a pillar that supported him and lifted him up, without her life would make sense. but with her it would be a universe without equal, so while she watched him suffer in silence while looking at a beautiful landscape and blaming herself for not achieving what she wanted, she offered him a dose of reality that put his feet on the ground and his gaze on the immense success.

Engreído quizás, pero nunca un perdedor. Ya que una mañana salió y puerta por puerta trato de conseguir el apoyo que necesitaba, los prejuicios estaban las limitaciones también, pero el persistente tiene su recompensa y una ventana se abrió dándole la oportunidad de mostrar de lo que estaba hecho.

De boca en boca fue el rumor de ese nuevo cantante y como erróneamente muchos lo llaman “el éxito llegó por suerte”, y de eso ya un tiempo. Muchos lo aplauden por ser el de siempre, otros lo condenan por simplemente aspirar a algo más y escapar del antiguo barrió que nunca olvida, donde preparan la mejor pizza y en el horizonte recuerda su infancia, pero de donde salir no fue precisamente una decisión complicada.

Por eso mientras toma su auto y su familia, con enojo sale a la carretera rumbo a su hogar y con la mano de su amada se marcha pensando que aunque muchos sean los que estén en contra, lo importante es lo que logró y el apoyo de quienes lo quieren.

Cocky maybe, but never a loser. Since one morning he went out and door to door tried to get the support he needed, the prejudices were the limitations too, but the persistent has its reward and a window opened giving him the opportunity to show what he was made of.

Word of mouth was the rumor of this new singer and as many mistakenly call him "success came by luck", and that was a while ago. Many applaud him for being the same as always, others condemn him for simply aspiring to something more and escaping from the old neighborhood he never forgets, where they prepare the best pizza and on the horizon he remembers his childhood, but from where leaving was not exactly a complicated decision.

So while he takes his car and his family, he angrily hits the road on his way home and with the hand of his beloved he leaves thinking that although many are against him, the important thing is what he achieved and the support of those who love him.

Esta es una historia sencilla para el Concurso de RisingStar de la mano de nuestros amigos de @hivenftgamela, en esta oportunidad quise señalar lo grandioso de mantener nuestra esencia, conservar nuestro criterio y entender que hagamos lo que hagamos seremos señalados, por eso solo nos debe importar el punto de vista de quienes nos apoyan y nunca sentirnos culpables por ser ambiciosos con los sueños y metas que tenemos en la vida.

This is a simple story for the RisingStar Contest by the hand of our friends from @hivenftgamela, in this opportunity I wanted to point out how great it is to keep our essence, keep our criteria and understand that whatever we do we will be singled out, that's why we should never care about the point of view of those who support us and never feel guilty for being ambitious with the dreams and goals we have in life.
