La promesa de un reencuentro || The promise of a reunion

¡Hola queridos lectores! En el día de ayer, tuve la dicha de asistir a un reencuentro muy especial con mis mejores amigos en la ciudad de Maracay, Edo. Aragua, Venezuela.

Acompañada de mi mejor amigo en la plataforma @byercatire y rodeados de lo mágico de las fechas, el día de ayer aperturamos el mes más bonito del año, compartiendo con seres que describen lo que una amistad representa: lealtad, amor, comprensión y apoyo.

Estos amigos llegaron a mí hace casi 10 años, desde entonces el cariño nunca se ha desvanecido entre nosotros, a pesar de la distancia, errores y vidas que siguen rumbos distintos, el destino nos ha demostrado que nunca estamos solo, pues contamos con los mejores amigos que se pueden tener.

Mi época de universidad fue la mejor gracias a ellos, describir lo afortunada que me siento con Dios por rodearme con las mejores personas que te puedes cruzar se queda corto, y es poco para lo mucho que me han dado.

“Los éxitos se aplauden, las metas se alcanzan y los buenos amigos no se olvidan”, no necesito conversar con ellos a diario o vernos frecuentemente para celebrar sus metas, ellos saben lo orgullosa que me siento, y aunque la despedida es inminente, sé que no olvidaré lo que cada uno representa para mí.

En el caso de mis amigos Anyel y Dustin, la vida les ha dado la oportunidad de seguir un sueño para el que nacieron y por el que nunca dejaron de luchar. Decir que son ejemplo del “querer es poder” se queda pequeño. Fueron muchas las barreras derribadas, los obstáculos dejados atrás y las metas alcanzadas, por mentes que no conocen imposibles y, hacen de cada problema una oportunidad para aprender y demostrar de lo que están hechos.

Mis amigos están por trasladarse a una nueva ciudad en busca de un sueño y mejores oportunidades, bajo la premisa “nos veremos pronto”. Y aunque no haya tiempo, sé que la vida nos logrará reunir, muchos kilómetros que nos separaran, pero nuestros corazones se hayan unidos por un nexo inquebrantable.

La distancia se hace corta cuando se quiere, y los quiero como si hermanos se tratará. Ahora la nostalgia me embarga porque estas fechas son muy especiales para mí, pero sé que pronto tendré la oportunidad de volverlos a ver.

Los reencuentros son momentos únicos que se guardan en el corazón y puede que no lo se lo haya dicho con palabras, pero me siento honrada por ser parte de su vida y orgullosa de los grandes profesionales en los que están por convertirse.

“Médicos muchos, hermanos algunos y amigos verdaderos pocos”, por eso le agradezco a Dios por darme la oportunidad de compartir momentos únicos con ustedes e inmortalizarlos en fotografías de una novata y palabras de una aspirante a escritora, que los ama con el corazón y deja prueba de lo que es “La promesa de un reencuentro”.

Hello dear readers! Yesterday, I had the joy of attending a very special reunion with my best friends in the city of Maracay, Aragua State, Venezuela.

Accompanied by my best friend in the @byercatire platform and surrounded by the magic of the dates, yesterday we opened the most beautiful month of the year, sharing with beings that describe what a friendship represents: loyalty, love, understanding and support.

These friends came to me almost 10 years ago, since then the affection has never faded between us, despite the distance, mistakes and lives that follow different directions, fate has shown us that we are never alone, because we have the best friends you can have.

My time in college was the best thanks to them, to describe how fortunate I feel with God for surrounding me with the best people you can come across is an understatement, and it is too little for how much they have given me.

"Successes are applauded, goals are achieved and good friends are not forgotten", I don't need to talk to them daily or see each other frequently to celebrate their goals, they know how proud I feel, and although the farewell is imminent, I know I will not forget what each one represents to me.

In the case of my friends Anyel and Dustin, life has given them the opportunity to follow a dream they were born to pursue and never stopped fighting for.

To say that they are an example of "will is power" is an understatement. Many barriers have been broken down, obstacles left behind and goals achieved, by minds that know no impossibilities and make every problem an opportunity to learn and show what they are made of.

My friends are about to move to a new city in search of a dream and better opportunities, under the premise "we will see each other soon". And even if there is no time, I know that life will bring us together, many kilometers will separate us, but our hearts are united by an unbreakable bond.

Distance is short when we love each other, and I love you as if you were brothers. Now nostalgia overwhelms me because these dates are very special for me, but I know that soon I will have the opportunity to see them again.

The reunions are unique moments that are kept in my heart and I may not have said it in words, but I feel honored to be part of their lives and proud of the great professionals they are about to become.

"Doctors many, brothers some and true friends few", so I thank God for giving me the opportunity to share unique moments with you and immortalize them in photographs of a novice and words of an aspiring writer, who loves you with her heart and leaves proof of what is "The promise of a reunion".
