6 claves para una redacción exitosa. ESP - ENG

¡Hola amigos de Hive!
Desde la primaria supe que la literatura sería parte de mi vida. La frase "como hablas, escribes" fue parte de la enseñanza que dejaron muchos de mis tutores en la materia.
Recuerdo como si fuera ayer el primer artículo que escribí cuando tenía tan solo 9 años. Fue descrito por mi profesora como un texto creativo y entusiasta, pero que no ameritaba la nota máxima debido a grandes faltas de ortografía.

Ahora que soy adulta, sonrío al leer lo que escribo y, aunque no poseo la verdad absoluta, estoy clara en que la vida es más que talento. Considero que no hay malos escritores, solo falta de formación al respecto.
Soy una gran lectora e invierto al menos 2 horas diarias en esta pequeña obsesión. Consumo todo tipo de contenido, desde el más académico hasta los relatos en blogs de escritura creativa. Puedo asegurarles que hay escritores con ideas fantásticas pero con una redacción que desanima al lector a continuar.
Redactar no es cosa sencilla, conlleva experiencia, manejo del contenido y, por supuesto, formación académica. Aunque he invertido gran parte de mi tiempo en mejorar mis textos, quiero ofrecerles una guía de 6 claves con todo lo que he aprendido hasta ahora. Espero que les sea útil, sin importar lo que quieran escribir.
1. Identifica tu público
Está de más explicarme, pregúntate a quién va dirigido tu contenido y ten un perfil claro. Redactarás lo ideal.

2. No más vueltas al asunto
El primer error que suele cometerse a la hora de redactar es ser redundante y pensar que ser extensos, sin importar cómo, es lo ideal.
El contenido en la red debe estar orientado a economizar el tiempo del lector, que ya sabe lo que quiere y cómo lo quiere. No burles su capacidad de razonamiento, sé conciso y preciso. Evita incisos innecesarios y explicaciones repetitivas. No hagas que el lector vaya en círculos. Vamos a dar el mensaje de "esto es lo que quieres, pues esto te ofrezco". Un lector no quiere perder el tiempo, quiere soluciones a la curiosidad que le genera al entrar a tu contenido.
El tamaño sí importa, pero a veces menos es más. Les coloco como ejemplo a Edgar Allan Poe: sus relatos cortos son la gloria y por eso no pierden calidad ni estilo.

3. La mala praxis del verbo y el uso enfermizo de los adverbios y adjetivos
No los juzgo y me declaro culpable en este punto. Nos encanta hacer de una acción un evento sin igual, cuando podemos colocar el verbo y ya. Ocasionamos cierto tedio en el lector que no terminará de leer y se irá.
Simplemente, solamente, inevitablemente, mente, mente, mente... Esto es uno de los peores males que nos aqueja a la hora de escribir. Mi personalidad me lleva a pensar que todo suena mejor con adjetivos y adverbios por doquier, pero nada más lejos de la realidad. Todo en exceso es malo y maquillar un texto no lo hace de calidad. Ser directos es lo mejor (aplica para todo en la vida).

4. Cumple lo que prometes (el más controversial)
Esto va dirigido en su mayoría a los títulos, la delgada línea entre crear contenido atractivo y jugar a ser Dios en el proceso. Y lo peor es cuando lo hacen en nombre del humor.
Cumplan con sus lectores, nada más molesto que entrar a un post donde el título no tiene nada que ver con el contenido o te hablan tipo comercial de canal de ventas. Y aunque esto va a depender de lo que escribes, la redacción es armonía.
En la escritura creativa, considero que se puede salir un poco del molde, pero si quieres formalizar lo que escribes, presta atención a esto.

5. Cuida los errores ortográficos
Yo pensé que sabía escribir hasta que revisé mi ortografía con detenimiento. Así que vamos a prestarle atención a este punto. No pienso extenderme con una clase de ortografía, pero estos suelen ser errores comunes en algunos redactores:
•Colocar "etc." seguido de los puntos suspensivos siendo redundante. Sin comentar cuando los usan luego de dos adjetivos por falta de propuesta al describir.
•No colocar el punto final, algo tan simple que a veces se olvida.
•Usar mayúsculas después de dos puntos sin motivo.
•El uso de diacríticos.
No me voy a extender porque creo es suficiente.

6. Armonía entre párrafos
Esto es percepción personal. Un párrafo muy extenso con muchas líneas suele ser tedioso. Recuerden ser concretos con lo que ofrecen.
Lo más importante de la escritura es que te diviertas y disfrutes lo que haces. Da igual si algunos te dicen que tienes talento o no. Lo que importa es lo que sientes y cómo lo expresas. Aquel que tiene talento llega a la meta, pero quien trabaja en su talento, lo perfecciona, lo estudia y es constante, es quien llega más allá.

Since elementary school I knew that literature would be part of my life. The phrase "as you speak, you write" was part of the teaching that many of my tutors in the subject left behind.
I remember as if it were yesterday the first article I wrote when I was only 9 years old. It was described by my teacher as a creative and enthusiastic text, but it did not merit the highest grade due to major spelling mistakes.
Now that I am an adult, I smile when I read what I write and, although I do not possess the absolute truth, I am clear that life is more than talent. I believe that there are no bad writers, only a lack of training in this regard. I am a big reader and invest at least 2 hours a day in this little obsession. I consume all kinds of content, from the most academic to the stories on creative writing blogs. I can assure you that there are writers with fantastic ideas but with writing that discourages the reader from continuing.
Writing is not an easy thing to do, it takes experience, content management and, of course, academic training. Although I have invested much of my time in improving my texts, I want to offer you a 6-keys guide with everything I have learned so far. I hope you find it useful, no matter what you want to write.
1. Identify your audience
Needless to say, ask yourself who your content is aimed at and have a clear profile. You will write the ideal.
2. No more beating around the bush
The first mistake often made in writing is to be redundant and to think that being long, no matter how, is ideal.
The content on the web should be oriented towards saving the reader's time, who already knows what they want and how they want it. Don't mock their reasoning ability, be concise and precise. Avoid unnecessary parentheses and repetitive explanations. Don't make the reader go in circles. Let's give the message of "this is what you want, so this is what I offer you". A reader doesn't want to waste time, they want solutions to the curiosity that arises when they enter your content.
Size does matter, but sometimes less is more. I'll give you Edgar Allan Poe as an example: his short stories are glorious, and that's why they don't lose quality or style.
3. Verb malpractice and the unhealthy use of adverbs and adjectives.
I don't judge them and I plead guilty on this point. We love to make an action an unparalleled event, when we can just put the verb and that's it. We cause a certain tedium in the reader who will not finish reading and leave.
Simply, only, inevitably, mind, mind, mind... This is one of the worst evils that afflicts us when writing. My personality leads me to think that everything sounds better with adjectives and adverbs everywhere, but nothing could be further from the truth. Excess of anything is bad, and dressing up a text does not make it of quality. Being direct is the best (applies to everything in life).
4. Deliver what you promise (the most controversial)
This is mostly aimed at titles, the fine line between creating engaging content and playing God in the process. And the worst is when they do it in the name of humor.
There is nothing more annoying than entering a post where the title has nothing to do with the content or they talk to you like a commercial sales channel. And although this will depend on what you write, the wording is harmony.
In creative writing, I find that you can break out of the mold a bit, but if you want to formalize what you write, pay attention to this.
5. Take care of spelling mistakes
I thought I knew how to write until I carefully reviewed my spelling. So let's pay attention to this point. I don't intend to go into a spelling lesson, but these are usually common errors in some writers:
•Placing "etc." followed by ellipses is redundant. Without commenting when they are used after two adjectives due to lack of purpose when describing.
•Not placing the period, something so simple that sometimes it is forgotten.
•Using capital letters after a colon for no reason.
•The use of diacritics.
I am not going to expand because I think it is enough.
6. Harmony between paragraphs
This is a personal perception. A very long paragraph with many lines tends to be tedious. Remember to be specific with what you offer.
The most important thing about writing is that you have fun and enjoy what you do. It doesn't matter if some people tell you that you have talent or not. What matters is what you feel and how you express it. Someone who has talent reaches the goal, but it is the one who works on their talent, perfects it, studies it, and is consistent, who goes beyond.

Take it as a pat on the shoulder that tells you: "you are doing well, but you can do better". Let's learn together and provide quality content.

Gracias, gracias. De todo corazón espero poder crear un mas y mejor contenido para esta comunidad tan maravillosa.
Qué placer leerte y ver, de cierto modo, un espejo en tu entusiasmo, especialmente -las negrillas fueron adrede, jeje- por el disfrute de la literatura a partir del orden, la programación, la finalidad y el formato. Aplaudo la forma cómo escribes y describes. De igual forma, admiro que quieras pasar el testigo a quien desee sacar provecho para su consumo como audiencia o como creador.
Yo añadiría a este compendio, sí o sí, indiferentemente del género para el que se escriba, el manejo de los clímax y la consecución de hechos explicativos de las hipótesis, que es lo veo que casi nadie planifica al escribir, me refiero puntualmente a estos lares.
Este post lo vi a las 9 de la mañana de hoy y lo dejé abierto hasta ahora que son las 9 de la noche y pude leerlo. Ha valido la alegría -y no la pena- hallar este contenido.
