¡Hola @ladieofhive! Un placer estar de regreso por aquí con sus maravillosas iniciativas. En esta oportunidad ambas preguntas me hicieron ruido, pero decidí contarles sobre mi sueño hecho realidad.

He soñado mucho sobre lo que quería para mi vida. Pero así como he soñado, tambien he descubierto que muchas cosas que no he soñado y se han cumplido han sido hasta más maravillosas que lo he soñado. Toda una sorpresa, ¿no creen?

En este caso, este sueño que paso a paso se ha cumplido, fue el tipo de sueño que imagine pero me dije: tal vez en otra vida. ¿Triste, verdad? Es que es de esas cosas gigantes que sueñas y después caes a tierra preguntandote: ¿y cómo voy a lograr eso? si requiere de muchas cosas que no tengo en este momento.

Con el paso de los años aprendí a desear. A pedirle al cielo, el universo, Dios o lo que sea que esté allá arriba que me escuche que quiero x's cosa y que se encargue. El cómo, con qué y cuándo queda en sus manos. Así empecé a cumplir mi sueño: Poética, mi tienda de arte. Siempre he soñado con tener una tienda de arte, papelería, librería con una cafetería. Un espacio para el arte y la relajación.

Aunque suene increíble Poética nació de ir a la página web de Walmart y decir: “ok, llenare un carrito de marcadores, lapiceros, washi tapes y todas esas cosas de papelería que me encantan y que el universo se encargue de ver de donde voy a sacar el dinero para hacer la primera inversión”. Recuerdo que le dije a mi mamá @janeco68 que yo iba a lograr iniciar el proyecto y que lo más que iba a pasar era que iba a terminar vendiendo marcadores en una plaza, y mi mamá, que siempre me ha apoyado en todo, me dijo: pues venderemos marcadores en la plaza.

Al mes recibí un dinero que no esperaba e hice la primera compra de Poética. En octubre de 2021 presenté a Poética en instagram con todo el miedo del mundo, pero si había algo de lo que estaba segura era de que esto era lo mío. Una cosa es que se los cuente y otra que les diga como me sentí cuando hice la primera sesión de fotos de productos. Sentía que esto era lo mío, todo se veía tal cual lo imagine.

En noviembre tuve que organizar mi segunda compra. El primer stock se acabó casi que de inmediato. Mi felicidad y mi incredulidad de ver lo que estaba logrando están en su punto máximo. Desde el 2021 hasta hoy el sueño ha ido mutando y creciendo. Ahora doy talleres de lettering (que este fue un sueño que imagine pero no creí lograria) y estoy en el proceso de armar los primeros cuadernos y futuramente agendas con mi marca.

Construir este sueño ha sido un proceso de paso a paso. Donde he reído, llorado, fallado y aprendido de cada paso que doy. He contado con apoyo de mi familia y amigos para construir este sueño, que es como un árbol, le van saliendo ramas y no para de crecer.

Esta mañana mientras arreglaba el inventario y los juguetes de Poética (dicese la impresora y juguetes para encuadernar), me di cuenta que ya ocupa tres tramos de mi closet y cuando empecé el stock de Poética apenas ocupaba medio tramo. Tal vez no tengo el crecimiento que quisiera para este momento (ariana al fin quiero todo para ya), pero sé que cada pequeño paso es un logro gigante.

No he perdido la vista en la meta, aunque me gusta la idea de que este sueño cambia y me lleva a donde en realidad debo ir.

Hi @ladieofhive! A pleasure to be back here with your wonderful initiatives. This time both questions made noise to me, but I decided to tell you about my dream come true.

I've dreamed a lot about what I wanted for my life. But as much as I have dreamed, I have also discovered that many things that I have not dreamed and have come true have been even more wonderful than what I have dreamed. Quite a surprise, don't you think?

In this case, this dream that step by step has been fulfilled, was the kind of dream I imagined but I said to myself: maybe in another life. Sad, isn't it? It is one of those gigantic things that you dream about and then you fall to the ground wondering: how am I going to achieve that, if it requires a lot of things that I don't have at the moment.

Over the years I learned to wish. To ask the sky, the universe, God or whatever is up there to listen to me that I want x's thing and to take care of it. How, with what and when is in their hands. That's how I started to fulfill my dream: Poetica, my art store. I have always dreamed of having an art store, stationery store, bookstore with a coffee shop. A space for art and relaxation.

Although it sounds incredible Poética was born from going to Walmart's website and saying: "ok, I will fill a cart with markers, pens, washi tapes and all those stationery things that I love and let the universe take care of seeing where I am going to get the money to make the first investment". I remember that I told my mom @janeco68 that I was going to manage to start the project and that the most that was going to happen was that I was going to end up selling markers in a square, and my mom, who has always supported me in everything, told me: well, we will sell markers in the square.

A month later I received money that I did not expect and I made the first purchase of Poética. In October 2021 I introduced Poética on instagram with all the fear in the world, but if there was one thing I was sure of, it was that this was my thing. It's one thing for me to tell you about it, it's another to tell you how I felt when I did the first product shoot. I felt like this was my thing, everything looked just as I imagined it.

In November I had to organize my second purchase. The first stock ran out almost immediately. My happiness and my disbelief to see what I was achieving is at its peak. From 2021 until today the dream has been mutating and growing. Now I give lettering workshops (which was a dream I imagined but did not believe I would achieve) and I am in the process of assembling the first notebooks and future agendas with my brand.

Building this dream has been a step by step process. Where I have laughed, cried, failed and learned from every step I take. I have had the support of my family and friends to build this dream, which is like a tree, it keeps growing and growing.

This morning while I was arranging the inventory and the Poética toys (i.e. the printer and binding toys), I realized that it already occupies three sections of my closet and when I started the Poética stock it barely occupied half a section. Maybe I don't have the growth I'd like for this moment (ariana at last I want everything for now), but I know that every small step is a giant achievement.

I haven't lost sight of the goal, though I like the idea of this dream changing and taking me where I really need to go.
