Hacks de vida / Life Hacks (ESP-ENG)


Hola ladies💜 Un placer volver a participar en las iniciativas de @ladiesofhive . La iniciativa #135 me puso a pensar bastante. Al principio pensé que no tenía un truco lo bastante significante para compartir con ustedes, pero luego de un análisis intenso me di cuenta de que aunque no tengo grandes trucos, si tengo pequeños hacks que me han ayudado en mi vida para ser más feliz, cuidar de mi salud mental y me mantienen productiva.

Hi ladies💜 A pleasure to participate again in @ladiesofhive initiatives . Initiative #135 got me thinking quite a bit. At first I thought I didn't have a significant enough trick to share with you, but after some intense analysis I realized that although I don't have great tricks, I do have little hacks that have helped me in my life to be happier, take care of my mental health and keep me productive.

Mantenerme serena y controlar mi ansiedad ha sido un reto en mi vida, por eso he tenido que desarrollar hacks o mecanismos que me permitan traerme al presente y así estar en paz. Les cuento sobre algunos de ellos:

Staying calm and controlling my anxiety has been a challenge in my life, so I have had to develop hacks or mechanisms that allow me to bring myself to the present and be at peace. I will tell you about some of them:


  • Un mándala por mi paz. Con unos 15 o 20 minutos de dibujo puedo volver a centrarme y relajarme. Tal vez no logré finalizar el dibujo por completo, pero esos minutos que tome para mí me llevan a descontarme y me reinician.

A mandala for my peace. With about 15 to 20 minutes of drawing I can refocus and relax. Maybe I didn't manage to finish the drawing completely, but those minutes I took for myself lead me to discount myself and restart.


  • Bullet Journal. Mi época más productiva. Llevar este método de organización fue lo máximo y ojo, no solo me sirvio para organizarme, tambien me permitio expresarme de forma artística. Durante el 2022 lo logré (este año no he tenido un cuaderno que me motive). Crear mes a mes mi diseño de bullet journal era lo máximo. Todas las noches tomaba unos 15 minutos para hablar de mi día, ver qué había logrado y organizar mi día siguiente. Tenía hasta gráficas para llevar mi mood del día, las palabras que escribía en mi novela, mis hábitos. Me gustó mucho hacerlo y planeo retomarlo pronto🤭 ya tengo mi cuaderno visto.

Bullet Journal. My most productive time. This method of organization was the best and, mind you, it not only helped me to get organized, it also allowed me to express myself in an artistic way. During 2022 I did it (this year I haven't had a notebook to motivate me). Creating my bullet journal layout month by month was the ultimate. Every night I would take about 15 minutes to talk about my day, see what I had accomplished and organize my next day. I even had charts to keep track of my mood for the day, the words I wrote in my novel, my habits. I really enjoyed doing it and plan to take it up again soon🤭 I already have my notebook in sight.


  • Lettering. Por si no lo conoces, el lettering es el arte de dibujar letras. No es solo dibujar letras bonitas, es una forma de aplicar arte terapia. Para mí, es la forma más bonita que tengo de decirme las cosas, así que lo uso con frases positivas para ayudarme cuando siento que nada esta bien.

Lettering. In case you don't know it, lettering is the art of drawing letters. It's not just drawing pretty letters, it's a form of art therapy. For me, it's the most beautiful way I have of telling myself things, so I use it with positive phrases to help me when I feel like nothing is right.

  • Paseos de salud mental. Así llamo los paseos que le doy a Buda🐶 (o Budita para los amigos). Unos 20 a 40 minutos dónde bajo a Buda a caminar y hacer sus necesidades (lo que menos hace🙃). Buda es un ser muy sociables. Diría que demasiado😂 cuando bajamos ella tiene que saludar a todos los humanos, a sus amigos perros, a sus mejores amigos humanos (ama recibir cariñitos). Tambien nos dedicamos a perseguir palomas y a la observación de aves. Esos minutos que paso con ella me oxigenan y me ayudan a centrarme y agarrar impulso.

Mental health walks. That's what I call the walks I give to Buda🐶 (or Budita for friends). About 20 to 40 minutes where I take Buda for a walk and do his needs (what he does the least🙃). Buddha is a very sociable being. I would say too much😂 when we go down she has to greet all humans, her dog friends, her best human friends (she loves to get cuddles). We also got to do some pigeon chasing and bird watching. Those minutes I spend with her oxygenate me and help me to focus and gather momentum.

  • Siestas de 20 minutos. Señoras y señoritas sí, tengo 29 años y tomo la siesta. Me obligó a descansar unos 20 minutos diario. No todos los días me da tiempo, pero ajá, 20 minutos para recostar la espalda cuando trabajas desde la PC te ayudan mucho y me da más energía.

20 minute naps. Ladies and ladies yes, I am 29 years old and I nap. I force myself to rest for about 20 minutes a day. Not every day gives me time, but aha, 20 minutes to lay your back when you work from the PC helps you a lot and gives me more energy.

  • Música. ¿Necesito escribir un post, agregar algo urgente a mi novela y quiero concentrarme al máximo? Música a todo volumen. Me aisló por completo del mundo y me mantiene productiva. Al punto que escribí mi tesis gracias a Pablo Alborán 🤭 y parte de mi novela gracias a Ismael Serrano.

Music. I need to write a post, add something urgent to my novel and I want to concentrate as much as possible? Music blaring. It completely isolated me from the world and keeps me productive. To the point that I wrote my thesis thanks to Pablo Alborán 🤭 and part of my novel thanks to Ismael Serrano.

  • ¿Ataque de ansiedad? Respiremos como los bebés. Inhala, entra el aire pero tú metes el abdomen. Exhala, sale el aire y tú sacas el abdomen. Al principio te puede sonar tonto, pero te puedo asegurar que si estás acelerada y necesitas volver a ti misma y bajarle a tus revoluciones, está idea te va a funcionar.

Anxiety attack? Let's breathe like babies. Inhale, air comes in but you pull in your abdomen. Exhale, air comes out and you pull your abdomen out. It may sound silly at first, but I can assure you that if you are in a rush and need to come back to yourself and slow down your revolutions, this idea will work for you.

Síí, en estos días tuve una crisis de ansiedad y me ayudo. Te concentras tanto en llevar el orden entre inhalar, contraer el abdomen, exhalar y distender el abdomen que te va ayudando

I think being happy is filled with many tricks even you are not realize at first.

You have great tricks there. I do 15 minutes Naps, walking while sunbathing in the morning, writing and cooking 🙂

I used to write in a form of expressive calligraphy when time time permits, it exercises both sides of the brain utilizing both cognitive and creative sides rather than one side. I've returned to this form of writing as an exercise an maintain fine motor skills. Very therapeutic @geneleori

Am only attractive with the drawings, i guess you're pretty good at colouring and designing. Anxiety is all about your breath, it works and goes away when you control your breath, good to know you know that
