What Would You Rather Want "For Christmas"?

(Edited)

I'm warning you, this post is crypto price-related, but maybe a different post would come with different options... :)

Before the INLEO team figures out how to include polls into posts (I heard they ran into some complications when they tried that), I'll just manually add some options for both bulls and bears:

Bull sentiment (1-4):

  1. $BTC at 45k+ (+8%+)
  2. $HIVE at 0.40+ (+14%+)
  3. $SPS at 0.035+ (+12%+)
  4. $LEO at 0.07+ (+21%+)

Bear sentiment (5-8):

  1. BTC at 38k (-10%)
  2. HIVE at 0.30 (-17%)
  3. SPS at 0.026 (-21%)
  4. LEO at 0.04 (-21%)

Source

I'll tell you what I think. The most likely of them is (1), for BTC to reach and exceed 45k since it already kind of tried that. The next likely thing is for SPS to reach and exceed 0.035 since it was also close to it, but only if the demand for DEC continues to be high, particularly from the land whales' side. For people not familiar with Splinterlands, why would demand for DEC translate into a growing price for SPS? Because there is a burning mechanism that keeps DEC pegged on the upside: one can burn SPS and get DEC instead (it's profitable when DEC is above peg).

(5) is not excluded if bulls don't have the strength to pull through 45k. And if (5) happens, pretty much all from 5-8 have a good chance of happening.

But neither option I talked about above is the one I want to happen "for Christmas". I'd rather see (2) happen, although it will be hard. But that would mean beating a pretty strong resistance at 39 cents (or maybe it's the 39-40 area).

At 40 cents, I see HIVE conquering another price interval, and if the momentum keeps going for a little while, it will probably not go below this psychological threshold during this cycle again. I have a selfish reason for wanting HIVE at 40 cents until the year-end, too. 😄 If that happens, my HP+HBD in savings goals will be achieved. Otherwise, it's unlikely. As I said a couple of times, it was a bad way to set this goal, but in the end, I decided to work with it as it is instead of changing it.

Ah, by the way, the most unlikely of them I believe is (8): LEO at 0.04. 😀 LEO is more likely to pull a +21%+ given what December should bring for INLEO, with a direct impact on the price.

How about you? What crypto price of the options above would you want to see "for Christmas"?

What if I want a lower price for all tokens so I can afford to buy and hodl? And of course, the resources to actually buy them? Would Santa deliver that?

Hope so at the end of the year hive price will exceed to 0.40 cents.

That's my hope too, but I am reserved this will actually happen.

While I don't take out the equation for BTC to continue rallying it's kind of time for altcoins to shine...

I don't think any of them shined yet. For the time being, bitcoin still has the spotlight.

I would love to see Bitcoin above 50k$ and hive above 0.50 cents.

Yep, so would I! But until Christmas? One can hope, but I don't think so.

I want the bull sentiment because I usually spend a lot of money in this period so it won’t be bad to want the bull sentiment so when I get more Hive, the money will be worth something reasonable

Yes, but which of the 4 options I listed under "Bull sentiment" would you like to see most for Christmas?

Of course, if the market closes below the 39700 candlesticks, the market will go much lower then there could be a bit of trouble.

Yeah, if 40k falls, I would see 38k as probable, if not a little lower.

Hoping for Hive price soar! Maybe 50 cents?

You're the second person who thinks HIVE could go to 50 cents by Christmas.

Ok, I'd be happy to be wrong and see HIVE at 50 cents in two weeks! 😃

Don't bother sending Santa, Happy Holidays. !lol

I agree with the following vectors but not scalars.

Bearish on BTC at 38k (-10%)

Bullish on $HIVE at 0.40+ (+14%+)

Bullish on $SPS at 0.035+ (+12%+)

Bearish on LEO at 0.04 (-21%)

Hmm, interesting combination of choices! Thanks for sharing your options. What would your scalars be?

Maybe 2x what you shared.
Getting the correct direction is hard enough. !lol
They are all high risk. No need for loyalty and I am not a fan of stranded assets. Shit gotta work for me or I move on. #TooFuckeh

After all, the bottom line is this. There is no waiting forever.

I would like to see HIVE a bit higher... but, that's in line with your topic... It is just a wish...

Don't like to make predictions... but... I would say that by Christmas, BTC could hit 45k+, for the rest, they could stay where they are...

Exactly my thoughts. :)

That's very possible, indeed. BTC is still in the spotlight.

I don't have Leo, but I still want 1-4 to happen. I do think 1 and 3 are very likely to happen, because of the slow and stead increase of BTC, and the Flywheel of SPS taking effect.

I'd like that to happen, but it's not rare when Christmas time is... red.

PS: Funny enough, before Coca-Cola marketing kicked in, Santa was dressed in green (still is, I believe, in Germany, the original inspiration for "Santa").

I'd prefer Hive because it is also tied to an extent to the hive ecosystem and the 2nd layers.

Only to some extent? :) All of them are from the Hive ecosystem, except BTC.

and the 2nd layers.

There's usually a strange correlation between many HE tokens and HIVE. When HIVE goes up, most of them go down (since they are priced in HIVE), when HIVE goes down, they also go down (maybe because people are selling them for SWAP.HIVE).

Haha the optimist in me will say the sky's the limit! Been reading a little here and there and it seems that the peak likely would happen in 2025.. So we are still pretty early in this run!

Yeah, people are in a hurry after the bear, there's still enough time for the market to explode.

Thank you @gadrian I would like to see the highest one happen and think that is 5) but maybe 2) is best. I will need to read this over again. Barb 🌟😀 !BBH !CTP #ctp

Nah, 5) is BTC -10%. Numbering doesn't work well if you break the numbered list in two. It restarts from 1 even if I write there 5, 6, 7, 8.
