HivePowerUpDay Struggles: Powering up 5 + 2 + 3 = 10 HP

Hello guys!

Some days exist just to troll yourself. It seemed that way when I opened the wallet and saw a whooping 5.216 HIVE in there. At first, I was surprised to see this amount, who knew you could earn this much from a couple of shit posts on Hive? It was like scratching a lottery ticket and finding you won something, of course not a million dollars but you got more than what you paid for the ticket.

I was excited to power up this amount and that's exactly what I did without thinking too much. I chose round number 5 and made my first power-up for the day.

Then my eyes caught another jackpot, I even had 1 HBD!!!!!! This has to be the luckiest day of my entire birth cycle in this endless cosmos. I had to slap myself just to confirm if I was not dreaming. It was as real as one could get.

Now I just had to liquidate this HBD to HIVE and power it up. How hard can it be...right? I went straight to HiveDub to swap my HBD but for some reason, Keychain kept giving an error while signing the transaction. I really didn't want to do the normal convert which takes 3.5 days to fully convert to HIVE, who is planning to live for these many days anyway, certainly not me.

But the swap is not the only way, I could just go to the internal market and sell my HBD to get some juicy HIVE. And I felt like a real fool when it took less than 5 seconds to do that. I was trying to swap for centuries while the market sell was a much better option. Welcome to my world!

But why do I want to Powerup 2 more HIVE that badly?

Simply, because I was close to 200 HP!

If I had to sell my soul I would do it happily just to get 2 more HIVE at that point. Fortunately, it didn't come to that. (Jokes on you, I sold mine already!)

Okay, back to the struggles, now I was sitting on 2 more HIVE ready to be powered up. It would be a total powerup of 5+2 = 7 and I didn't like this prime number for powerup. 10 would be a nice round number, I thought.

But I had nothing left to power up now. While I was plotting to scam a friend for 3 HIVE, it hit me. Why won't I take 3 HIVE from @pravesh0 without telling him? Isn't he a whale already? Why would he suspect 3 HIVE? I was trying to convince myself and makeup stories just in case I got caught. After a long deliberation, it was decided that I would call it a borrow not steal, if I got caught.

With a smirk on my face, I transferred those HIVEs to this account and powered up 5 more HIVE.

The extra HIVE I have in the liquid will be used as an emergency fund. Or at worse for paying my debts whichever comes first.
