MATCH WEEKEND - Brentford V Chelsea

Hey fam, sending out those weekend blessings to everyone!

Let's kick things off by showering Mauricio Pochettino, the brain behind the Blues, with some birthday cheer! Here's to more tactical brilliance and victories coming your way, coach!

Now, let's dive into the epic showdown between Brentford and Chelsea. Talk about edge-of-your-seat action! The tension was palpable, and the stakes only got higher as the minutes ticked by.

N. Jackson had us holding our breath with a string of missed opportunities, but boy, did he make up for it with a thunderous header at the 35th minute, setting the stage for an electrifying first half.

But hold onto your seats, folks, because Brentford came roaring back in the second half, courtesy of M. Roerslev's picture-perfect equalizer at the 50th minute mark. And just when you thought things couldn't get any more intense, along comes Y. Wissa, smashing one into the net at 69', sending Brentford fans into a frenzy.

Yet, Chelsea, never one to back down, ramped up the pressure, and lo and behold, Axel Disasi swoops in at the 83rd minute with a textbook goal, thanks to an assist from Cole Palmer. Talk about a nail-biter!

Now, let's give a nod to N. Jackson. Sure, it's his rookie season in the PL, but boy, is he holding his own out there! With a squad as young and promising as theirs, it's only a matter of time before they start turning heads. And let's not forget that stellar performance from Caicedo today!

As for Chelsea's tactics, well, let's just say the coach had us all scratching our heads at times (smiles). Because this would have been a better game to get a clean 3 point. Playing against a team that's not in form currently and yet the only thing to fetch out is a tie, no it's too bad.
The Chelsea's defense are extremely bad when it comes to winning Ariel duels. This was the same mistake that cost them the Cup last against Liverpool.

It is of great essence for the Chelsea board to consider a good replacement for that Center Back position since Thiago Silver's contract will soon expire. Presently he's the only experienced man there and he couldn't feature today because he just returned from a lil injury.
A strong CB and a good ST will do them a whole good. Already they have a good midfield.
Kudos to Đ. Petrović this guy is good in the post and believe me he has won the hearts of the fans.

After a string of tough losses, Brentford showed true grit and determination, settling for nothing less than a hard-fought draw against the mighty Chelsea. Now, that's what I call game day magic!

Here's the game stats

The game ended 2-2

I'll constructively put up the blame of Chelsea's draw today on the coach's head.
Wrong timing. The two players he later introduced - Mudryk & Sterling. These are players that would have been introduced since to mount more pressure on Brentford.
Outstanding performance from Cole Palmer he's my man of the match.
