Saturday Savers - Not so slowly but surely

Hey Guys,

After taking a short break writing/blogging, I'm reporting back with an early Saturday Savers Article.

The next one will be submitted next Saturday, a week from now.
Fortunately, quite a few things have happened during my blogging hiatus. I've put a bit of fiat money into my savings goals to reach them faster, and unlike before, I've focused exclusively on Hive and my other savings goal tokens.
In the past, I invested in game assets and thought that Hive could run on the side. I no longer believe that. Hive, as the base layer token of our blockchain, should take priority.
This reorientation came about for me thanks to #SaturdaySavers.

Overview

As you can see, there have been significant developments in the most crucial areas. I took 200 euros and invested them mainly in Hive.
Furthermore, on September 1st, I started selling 1 million Starbits per day on the market and reinvesting them into Hive Power (HP). At the current prices, this adds between 12 and 14 Hive per day, so it should progress relatively quickly toward reaching the goal of 2,500 HP.

Hive

In addition, there were some small author rewards from both accounts.
In total, I now have 711 HPmore than I did in the 32nd calendar week, and I'm now only 563 HP away from my annual goal.
Once I reach the 2,500 HP mark, I will shift my focus to SPS (Splinterlands Governance Tokens). While I can achieve LEO and Alive goals alongside other activities, SPS requires a bit more attention. Considering that the price of the #Splinterlands Governance Token is currently very low, I'll need to prioritize it at some point.

LEOverse

I had a pretty good first LEO LUPD. As I mentioned, I also invested in LEO, the Leofinance Community token and currently hold 523 LEO, which is halfway to my goal.
I aim to reach 1,000 LEO as early as possible to achieve Kitten status. Following that, my next goal is 2,000 LEO tokens to ascend to the rank of a Newborn Cub.
With Kitten status, you earn the right to submit two articles per month to the LEO team for review. While it doesn't guarantee a definitive upvote, if you structure your article well and provide sound reasoning without noticeable errors, you should receive a small upvote.
A rank above, the mentioned Newborn Cub, lends the privilege of submitting four articles per month for review, but again, the LEO team will make the final judgment.

This ranking system with numbers of articles you can submit per month extends beyond the Cub rank (5000 LEO, which is still attainable at the current prices, although it might take significantly longer than the earlier ranks) to the fully grown Lion with 15,000 LEO, on the penultimate step to becoming the Leader of the Pack with 50,000 LEO tokens.
The highest rank is essentially unattainable for the average Hive user who didn't get in early, and that's perfectly fine. People who believed in LEO and contributed to what the LEOverse is today deserve to have a larger piece of the pie.
With 150,000 LEO, you become an Apex Lion and thus the king of the savannah. As I mentioned, I don't even dream of reaching that status, but I do see myself gradually moving up the ranks to that of an ordinary lion over time :o).

SPS

This token is quite important to me because even though I'm not actively playing Splinterlands at the moment, I still wish the game and all players continued success. I've invested significantly with a large bundle of cards and currently holding 13,037 SPS. Therefore, I continue to follow news related to the game and believe that SPS has a pretty promising medium and long-term future.
I hope the prices don't rise too quickly though, because I want to achieve my 100k goal by the end of 2023. At the current prices, 10k SPS is roughly $200. So, I would need to invest some more money once or twice because I won't reach my goal through DEC sales and staking rewards. Additionally, since I'm no longer playing, Battle Rewards are not part of the equation for me.
The good news is that with less than 1,700 euros, you can currently reach the 100k mark. That should be doable by the end of the year.
And I now have the additional about 14 $Hive each and every day through the selling of Starbits. It is only about a quarter of my daily earnings and I could sell more, but I have a strict plan, I adhere to until the end of 2025 for all my gaming investments.
It's a very interesting and exiting time and I sincerely hope everything goes to plan.
More on that in the coming weeks and months.

EDS

I conclude my report with a new small goal. I finally took the time to read through the EDS information written by @eddie-earner. I had multiple articles in my "to-read" folder for ages. Unfortunately, I only got to it now, and I look forward to gradually collecting EDS tokens to reach at least 100 EDS. To achieve this, I've delegated a little over 1000 HP to the community account @eds-vote to acquire these coveted tokens.
So far, I have 2.26 tokens in my wallet. Unfortunately, hardly anyone is selling their EDS; otherwise, I would have collected a few more by now. Sometimes, patience is required, and in the coming weeks and months, I'll increase my delegation to @eds-vote a bit more. That way, I should reach the 100 EDS mark by at the latest sometime in 2024.
