Saturday Savers Club Week 27 - Saving HP, LEO and ALIVE One Token At A Time.

1. Introduction

I believe most of you don't know me yet because today is not only my first Saturday Savers blog post, but I haven’t been around much in the past few months.

That's why my goals will initially be a bit smaller. I'm glad to have finally found the enthusiasm and motivation to write regularly on Hive again, and the Saturday Savers community is a reason to approach this regularity in the realm of saving.

I think the idea is great. You have to be honest with yourself if, despite all your dreams, you haven't achieved your self-set goal at the end of the week. Although you're only accountable to yourself, publishing within the community probably has a different effect than pursuing and writing down your savings goals just for yourself.

Thanks to @eddie-earner and @shanibeer for starting the Saturday Savers Club, and a special thanks to @mypathtofire, without whom I wouldn't have known about the SSC.

2. Three Goals – Hive Power, LEO, ALIVE

To dive right in, I have created a small table and started with three goals.

• My primary goal now is the main token of our blockchain that holds everything together.
  I invested heavily in various Hive games (Rising Star, Splinterlands, Golem Overlord, Stardom, and Wrestling Organization Online aka WOO) for about two years.

My Hive Power is therefore embarrassingly low considering I've been here for about two and a half years. My writing hiatuses have varied in length, but during this time, I continued to invest. However, as I mentioned, the focus was on games.
That time is over now.
Last week, I started with 985 (rounded up) Hive Power, and my primary goal by the end of this year is to reach 2500 HP. This number is large enough for me to get off my ass and be active in writing, and yet small enough that I can compensate for any potential discrepancy at the end of the year with further investments.
This week, only 4 HP were added as my two articles unfortunately didn't resonate with upvoters. But hopefully, over time, the readers and upvoters that I once had will return.

• My second goal is 1000 LEO, of which I used to have more. Unfortunately, I converted this lovely token into cash a while ago to further invest in Hive games. Now I'm starting again with 15 LEO tokens.

• The third and final goal is the Alive Token. I'm entering my personal challenge with 78 Alive tokens and aiming to reach 1000 tokens here as well.

The idea behind the We Are Alive Tribe is wonderful, and I would like to support this idea and the community with a small investment.

3. Cryptocurrency Market Analysis

We are less than a year away from the next Bitcoin halving and have likely left the depths of this bear market behind us.

As we saw in March 2020, a freak event can still lead to even lower prices, but without such an event, I expect the market to steadily rise.
I anticipate a stable Hive price around 30-40 dollar cents. Within this range, I will continue to make purchases to the best of my ability, and therefore, I hope and believe that I will easily reach the primary goal of 2500 HP before the end of the year.

4. Motivation

The goals of the other SSC members are a motivation for me. I enjoy reading success stories like yours, and in the past week, I've read some of your reports (including the older ones).
I'm excited to see how my entry into the SSC will impact me and whether I will now write and save with a bit more focus, with the help of all of you, to achieve my goals.
