Talent Tuesdays on the FreeCompliments Community: More Ideas To Increase Post Engagement! Plus, Another Ecency Point Update!

Introducing a couple of new themed days to the FreeCompliments Community. As the FreeCompliments Community account grows to have a more valuable vote, themed posts may get a slightly higher vote percentage in order to encourage posting, yet would still be based on quality.

While the topics are themed on certain days, this does not mean that these themes are not permitted on other days. It’s just an incentive to encourage posting! All topics are allowed on all days.

In maintaining consistency with prior ideas, any posts which add the the FreeCompliments Community account as a beneficiary would receive an Ecency Boost of at least 150 points ($1 worth of votes). This percentage is currently 10%, and will be reduced over time.

Talent Tuesdays

Note: this will be an addition to the Taco Tuesday themed day which is already in place.

What better way to solicit compliments than to show off your talents? We love to see people showing off the things that they can do. Not to mention, it’s also an opportunity for constructive criticism so that you can become even better. Personally, I cannot think of a better compliment than constructive criticism, which points out the good and tries to fix areas of improvement – that is the sign that someone truly cares about becoming better!

Post any of your talents, whether it be drawing, singing, sewing, writing (stories, poetry), or anything else that you do! Just make sure to title the post with “Talent Tuesdays” in the title.

Remember to not spam or you’ll lose the FreeCompliments community account’s votes completely. Spamming would consist of posting the same exact content over and over, or posting a very large amount of nearly-identical content over and over. Reposting the same drawing (or adding one tiny line or touch of shade to a drawing, calling it a new progress post, and doing this several times per day) would count as spam; however, showing leaps in how your drawing progress is excellent and strongly encouraged!

Conclusion

Keeping in line with the FreeCompliments’ community of spreading joy, Talent Tuesdays are another themed day intended to provide a space for people to share their talents, and for their audience to encourage the growth and improvement of what they do!

Update on Ecency Points / Delegation

We’ve now reached approximately 127,000 Ecency points! Due to the addition of more themed days, as well as contests (which will soon be announced), we’ve allowed our delegation to Ecency to remain rather high. However, it’s now time to scale it back a little bit for the purpose of increasing our curation and our ability to earn on posts – and yes, the community account will soon start making daily posts regarding themed days.

We’ll also soon announce contests for the FreeCompliments Community, which themselves will award HSBI and some Ecency Points!

Also, look out for one more themed day post which will encompass the true essence of FreeCompliments. I’m expecting it to come out either a little bit later this week or next week.
