Shields down for Leo - Brave browser blocked LeoAds. Unblock it!!!

I have been using Brave browser for some time now and I do not regret it. This browser has built-in ads blocking features that clean up my browsing experience. Ads revenue has been very popular in the last decade. Because of the greed associated with it, you see sites load tons of annoying ads on pages and making your life miserable anytime you go online. Beyond being intrusive, these adds have all other issues such as collecting personal data and endangering privacy.

So because of all the risks associated with third-party ads, I decided to use Brave browser which effectively blocks all ads by default. But, I am about to remove my shield on https://leofinance.io/ because of the brand new Leoads which will bring external revenue to our ecosystem and help Leo grow.

Why unblock ads for https://leofinance.io/

Join the Leo ads Project: The most important reason to disable ads blocking for our UI is to participate in the Leo ads project which was designed to bring more value into the ecosystem from outside. Implementing ads on leofinance.io will bring in more investment into leo from advertisers and also generate revenue for users that build their page views.

Right now, the Leo team is already steps ahead with the design and implementation of other parts of the Leo ads project such as the recently added pageviews counter and analytics.

Traffic matters so much in the ad revenue model. The number of visitors to your page (Leo threads and blogs) needs to be as high as possible. The pageview counter will help you to know how people that visited your page. Although yet to be implemented on Long-form content, pageviews is already live on threads. Beyond just visitors count, page views also shows how much revenue is generated from the page views count.

How to unblock ads for Leo in Brave browser

So when I saw the #shieldsdownforleo conversation by @l337m45732, I decided to find how to unblock leo ads in brave brower and its pretty easy.

Step 1: Visit https://leofinance.io/ on your PC brave browser and click the Brave logo.

Step 2: Click the toggle button to push it to the left and switch of ads blocking for https://leofinance.io/.

This way, you have turned off ads blocking for https://leofinance.io/. Notice that Brave blocked more than 100 ads on our UI? Amazing.

Finally....

You should not miss out on this great project soon to be fully implemented on our UI. Leo ads is just another super amazing stuff to happen in web3. If you use Brave browser, you better turn off the ads blocker and be part of the leo Ads success story.

I was having trouble with the view count not showing up, so I send a thread about it just now. Some people kindly informed me that I should try turning off the shields, so I did.

Brave is great, but you can unblock ads for leofinance.io. Everything will display and work fine.

I agree with you on the second point you mentioned, Leo Ads are indeed tidy and blends with threads. Anyone who sees the adds for the first time will think that it is threads too. Imagine ads having comments and upvotes too😅.
I get pissed off by the way other sites program their ads, some won't just let you do anything else except you click on them.
The page view counter and analytics is a great project and we have to support because it will benefit both the community and we, the users too. This content will be a help to those who use the browser.

I see some sites go to the extreme to deceive visitors into clicking the ads. Some reprogram the close button. When you click the close button thinking you will close the ad, it opens the page they want.

Leo ads is something many wont understand until they start seeing the impact. We have to be early adopters and promoters now so that we can smile in the long run.

Lets unblock leo ads and help the system grow. Thanks so much for coming around.
