A proud Lion surrounded by his pride

Well, this art aspect of the Leo finance adoption campaign is becoming more interesting. In this particular quest, we are expected to draw a proud lion surrounded by his pride or family. Well, I think this is the toughest so far, but I really gave it time and made my best entry. So here is how I arrived at my artwork above.

I started from the leader of the pride.

Step 1: I started with the eyes of the lion. Then I made the line that led to the nose and mouth.

Step 2: I then completed the face.

Step 3: I drew the facial hairs of the lion

Step 4: Then I completed the remaining parts of the body including the legs and tail.

Drawing the cub

Step 1: I drew the face first with all the features

Step 2: I drew the first leg and an outline of the trunk

Step 3: I finished the remaining parts of the body. That includes the tail, other legs and trunk

Drawing the second cub

The second cub is just a tweak of the first cub. I just changed its body orientation and hair color.

Drawing the Third Lion

Step 1: I started from the face. I drew the eyes, nose and mouth. Then an outline of the face. Finally, I drew the face hairs.

Step 2: I continued with the body. I drew the trunk and a part of the tail. Then I drew the hind legs and a part of the stomach.

Step 3: I then completed the entire drawing, adding the legs, belly and other parts

After all these drawings, I captured them and send them to my PC where I used a graphics software to add colors and also changed the background. That was how I came up with the first picture.
