I Will Update How I Am Curating The We Are Alive Tribe

If you look at the price chart for the ALIVE token you will see that we have a development, and not in a good direction, yesterday over 50 Hive worth of standing buy orders where wiped out.

After analyzing the sales I can also conclude that most of them where made by accounts who are not staking any tokens and selling all tokens that they earn, one of them even to the point of not upvoting anything in the tribe and not making any comments either.

While people of course need to be able to sell their tokens, selling everything and not staking anything is not in any way beneficial to the tribe.

So from now on the curation I do with my own account, @flaxz.alive, will take a lot more consideration to if someone is staking or selling their tokens, quality always matters of course, but so does staking.

I have been trying to add as much standing buy orders as I can at and around the 0.04 price point, even to the point where I had to sell a lot of the CTP tokens I had liquid, now I will add more to the actual buy wall at 0.02 instead, just do note that a certain price can't be upheld by a single buyer for an indefinite amount of time, but this is also why we need more rewards to stakers rather than sellers.

Also note that you get rewarded for staking in our weekly staking contest, #AliveOnThursday Staking Contest - Prizes Of 1000 ALIVE Tokens - June 3, 2021.

And with sufficient stake you can also use our tipping bot with the !ALIVE command.

Plus much more use case for our token is being worked on, including the ability to use it for making purchases, none of it is built over night though and we are currently buying BEE with the sales of our miners which will pay for enabling ALIVE token delegations.

What can we say! We need to work with all kind of people! Some of them may have high hope with the Tribe and having a long term goal. While other may not have the same policy with the Tribe. Some of them, even may need to sell their earnings for living.

Changing the way of distributing the tokens, more to those who stake, may change the short-term users' action plans.

I agree with you. There are all type of people here, some are here for long term goals and some are here for short term goals.
There will always be a fix.

Yes there will always be a mix, I am just adjusting the levels I vote with to make sure that the short termers don't crush the long term dream for our tribe.

It won't, I will focus on the bottom line, the actual buy wall at 0.02 and then everyone else can trade the spread.

I am not a short timer, that I can ensure. I am not in hurry, either.

Thanks Hafiz, do note that I talked about this account and not @iamalivechalleng, plus that I did not say that I was not going to upvote them, but that I would adjust the levels.

Now if they actually need to sell everything to have a living and in doing so lower the price of what they sell, that does not help them either.

Very interesting to learn about these behaviors of people and markets. There will be those who need to sell everything to live, or get out of an emergency, or those who try to do some not very ethical maneuver to grow quickly. I am just learning financial education, but I consider that the long-term stake is security. I think many of us are here with plans for a decade ahead, adjustments that reward the future of the tribe are always great.
