Hello
With this post, i want to share about small changes that happened in my life.
I want to share about a lot of things, since i am so excited about this mew revolution of me.
But this time, i will share about this one thing, that is this new hijab that i wear in my head as can be seen in the picture.
First of all, i want to say that its not like i decided to wear hijab all the time yet.
Its just i opened myself to wear hijab occasionally.

Let me share about the story that i had inside of me and the reason why all this time i feel scared to wear hijab.
As it was probably known by everyone, all muslim woman should wear hijab, or should cover their body including the hair.
Before, around 9 years ago, i decided to wear hijab full time and all the time, even just to go to in the front of my house.
But 2 till 3 years after that, i had some changes in my life that makes me decided to go on and off with the hijab.
I got a pretty bad reaction at the time and then just decide to not wearing hijab anymore.
People start to get used of the me that never wear hijab anymore.
Its not like i have never wear hijab again after that, but its more like i only wear them when its absolutely necessary.
For example, when i came to the funeral, when there’s big islamic holiday, when i came to the mosque, and such.
Other than for occasion like that, i will always wear my hair out like usual.

So, whats the change?
Of course, since Eid fitri this year, there were many changes that i want to do in my life.
Its all started from baby steps.
I believe that as a human, we should always strive to be the better person from before.
Its okay to do it even from the small steps and not do anything grand yet.
At the time, one of my best friend will have her wedding reception in less than two weeks.
Her wedding reception will be held in Aceh.
In Aceh, girls should covering their head as they have islamic law there.
My usual self doesnt like to go to Aceh for that reason.
For my baby steps changes, i opened up my heart to Aceh.
I told myself that i will go and come in her wedding reception.
It means that i should wear hijab right?
I practice for more and less 10 days to wear hijab whenever i went out so i can get used to them when i am in Aceh later.

One day after i went back from Aceh, i opened up my instagram and saw a really interesting video on a girl wearing hijab.
The hijab style is not something that me or my friend’s usually wear.
I asked my friend about it and ever her didnt know what it is.
In the end, i decided to look around in marketplace.
After looking for more than 1 hour, no kidding its that long, i finally found a store that sell similar looking hijab as i saw in the video in instagram.
Without thinking much, i buy and paid for them.
Just need to wait for three days because the store located in Jakarta, the package is arrived in my house.
I was so excited to open them and yes, its not disappoint me at all.
The hijab is so similar with what i saw in the video on instagram.
I personally it doesnt look bad on me.
What do you think?
This is the first time that i have ever bought hijab purely because i was curious and liking the hijab.
Its another small change in me.
I am so happy and grateful with all the small changes, the baby steps that i took just during this few months.
