In case you don't know this about me, i am quite a gamer but i prefer to play single-player games and not multiplayer ones. I prefer to dive deeper into the story and the whole set/ atmosphere and explore. I used to play multiplayer games when i was younger but the results were basically more and more nervous instead of fun.

Now before i present you my top 3 games that i want to play in 2024 let me tell you what i am currently playing and played since November 2023. So in November 2023 i started playing 2 games at the same time, Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Lost Judgement. I think you all know the Assasin't Creed franchise, in my opinion, these games are top of the top due to their accuracy in history and relevant set.

AC Valhalla even though i can say it's a good game, it can be a bit boring sometimes and due to that i had Lost Judgment to play in cases like this, which is an awesome game part of the Yakuza franchise which is one of my favorites. After i completed both of these games i started Elden Ring, i know a bit late to the game but better late than sorry.

I like the story, the skills, magic, enemies, weapons, armor, graphics, and set but i hate this type of soul games. People told me that it's one of the easiest though, that's why i started it. I don't know about you but the fact that in many different occasions, you just don't know what to do and even can you miss depending on certain actions get on my nerves. Honesty, i don't know nor understand why you make a game with let's say some game options/quests that you really can't find the way except if you actually look at the code :P. Anyway let's start with my top 3:

3) Like A Dragon: Ishin!

This is a game part of the Yakuza franchise but with a twist. All of the Yakuza follow let's say a certain timeline as well as certain characters. This one is a bit different as it is set in EDO period and basically, they have taken most of the characters both "heroes" and "villains" from the entire franchise that people loved, changed their names and started a brand new story from scratch.

Note that all of the Yakuza have great reviews like 9/10 and such, and even though this game is in that range as well, i have read let's say the "worst" reviews from the entire franchise. Mostly there are some issues in game mechanics and scalability not in the story itself or issues like bugs. In any case, it's one of the 2 Yakuza games that i haven't played yet, that's why it's on my list!

2) Persona 3 Reload

Persona is another popular franchise that you can watch as an anime as well. It is a turned-based game and basically, you have a team of students that have let's say a monster-like partner and fight as a team with other monsters. The graphics from what i have seen are the best so far, the story seems interesting and the gameplay once again seems top of the line, from the perspective of someone who likes these kinds of games.

I had played the previous one, in which they tried to change the turn-based gameplay to an action one which ended up pretty badly. Imagine that i couldn't play it and deleted it after 10 or so hours. Persona 3 Reloaded was released on 02/24 and as you can imagine it's expensive for me at this time. Hopefully, by the end of the year, i may manage to buy it at a better price!

1) Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth

As i said before this is one of the 2 Yakuza games that i haven't played yet. Note that there are over 15 Yakuza games, with the latest one being this one and the one before called "the man who erased his name" which ofc i played. So besides the fact that Infinite Wealth is one of the longest yakuza games there are 2 other quite interesting facts about this game.

The first one is that it continues the story of Yakuza like a dragon which is one of the few Yakuza games in which the main protagonist is a different character than the usual one. Also, in Like a Dragon they decided to switch the gameplay to a turn-based one in terms of battles, which of will continue in Infinity Wealth. Although i am not a big fan of turn-based games like Persona, Yakuza managed to do it perfectly. Once again this is a brand new game that was released in 01/24 and sadly it's quite expensive for me but in a Steam sale, it will be mine!
