Progress on Projects

Above you see one mitten with the top finished. I am waiting to do the thumb until I also have the matching mitten, which I just started:

Another step, the bane of many knitters, is the necessary weaving in of the ends of all the colored yarns. Here is a photo of the inside of a mitten. You can see how the multiple colors carried in the back make a dense and warm fabric.

In addition to the pictured project, I am almost done sewing a jumpsuit for one of my daughters. I just need to hem it, add belt loops, and make a belt. (I just found the right color of macrame cord for the belt and am deciding whether to make it by knotting or braiding. I will post when I decide.)
