Hat and Scarf Project Done

avatar

I wish you could touch this scarf and feel how soft and cozy it is. The yarn is Lion Brand Heartland, an acrylic that is soft, not scratchy.

The wide scarf in garter stitch has stockinette stitch patch pockets sewn to the scarf ends for hand warming in the winter. I also used 2 strands of yarn held together on big needles to make a matching hat.

Hopefully winter cold is almost gone, but I have a head start on next winter now.

I still haven't progressed beyond dishcloths, but those are basic stitches and I could probably make a scarf some day. Yours looks very nice.

A scarf is just a big rectangle, so just like knitting a dishcloth. !PIZZA
