Fighting Winter with Knitting

I just finished this balaclava for my son, who likes to go outdoors in all weather. It fits me, so it is ready to give to him.

It started on circular needles.

Once the top decreases start, I switch to double points.

The yarn is a soft grey baby yarn. The stitch pattern is knit 2 purl 2 rib. It is stretchy and warm, though not windproof.
