Content marketing is a serious business that requires serious mindedness to succeed. Google don't care about your use of English or how important is the subject you write about. Google only care about content which meet their specifications.

I have seen a lot of people talking about SEO and ranking higher on Google search engines, and I believe that most of these people doesn't know what exactly it requires for a piece of content to rank higher on search engines. You don't just throw content there and expect that people will see it without meeting some sets of guidelines for your content to rank higher. I am going to share with you a few important things you should keep in mind before writing your content with the hope of getting ranked higher.

In the little time I have work with content marketers, I have come to understand that only one thing matters in content creation- Your key words! This is where content creation starts and ends. However, there's more to keywords than most people know.

Before we start writing, we usually begin by searching for the topic of interest, and then, we poured out our minds in writing, believing that our content can get to the top on Google search engines. In practice, it's more than that.

The first thing to do when thinking about writing to get ranked on Google search engines is to do a proper keywords' research. You have got the topic, that's right! But how many people will be attracted to the topic. This is where keywords research comes in. You got to know if the keywords of your topic can get attention by doing keywords analysis which will show to you how many people are searching those keywords or something related to it. This will help you to know whether your choice of keywords will are related to what people are searching online.

The next thing you will do after researching the topic keywords is the determine the keywords difficulty KD. This is an important aspect you must not ignore if your article of blog post to rank higher in Google search engine.

Keywords difficulty is a measurement of how difficult it will be for your post to rank first on Google search engines. Keywords research tool can help to know the level of difficulty of your article titled. The higher the percentage the harder it will be for your article to make it to the top. A lower difficulty level means there's less competition for your article to rank top in Google search engines.

After dealing with the keywords difficulty, the next is to know the search intent for your keywords. Search intent refer to the reason why people would search for a particular topic. For example, if you are writing about a particular subject, you need to find related longtail keywords as subheadings for your post, which can drive traffic to your blog post. The longtail keywords can be the reason why people would search for the article.

These two, keywords difficulty and search intent are so important to make your article rank in Google. However, if you want to know how important your keyword and search intent means to Google search engine, use tool like Google planner, that will tell you the search intent of your article.
