My Former Introduction To The HiveNaija Community

Do I need to introduce myself after having been on Hive for over 5 months? I feel I have been home already on Hive, that I do not think of making an introduction post to register my presence and support in the HiveNaija community. However, for the avoidance of doubts, I think it's right for me to make a formal introduction of myself to the community.

In a community such as HiveNaija with its teeming membership, it is appropriate for new joiners to register their presence by way of introduction. Hence, introducing oneself in a post is a very necessary thing for a new joiner to make a first impression on the community. So, here I come with my formal introduction to the HiveNaija community.

I'm Felix, a 41-year-old Nigerian man. I'm a husband and father to 3 children. I am a preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ, a crypto enthusiast, an entrepreneur, and a passionate blogger. This description form part of my Hive account profile bio.

I have been in the writing business for over 3 years across several blockchain platforms, with read.cash as the first writing platform where I developed my writing skills. Within that period, I have written over a thousand articles in various genres, with a touch of reality to my blog.

Do I have a hobby?

Reading and writing are the things I do almost every day outside my usual normal work. Hence, reading and writing could be my hobbies.

My favorite color is yellow, and although I'm not a huge football fan, I do enjoy watching football games and following teams like Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Napoli football clubs. My favorite music is hip-hop and mainstream music, and as a Nigerian, I love Wizkid and Davido.

I found the HiveNaija community on my first day on Hive 5 months ago, when I actually joined the community. But, for no special reason, I couldn't publish any post in the community until now.

I must confess that I feel regretful now for not publishing my posts in the community before today. As a Nigerian, it's right to identify with fellow countrymen in an environment such as the Hive platform. If I had done that, I believe I would have been a recognized community member by now.

Being a Nigerian, I love everything about the HiveNaija community and I hope to be able to contribute to the growth of the community in the Hive ecosystem

My major writing genres as mentioned above include relationship, lifestyle, Cryptocurrency, Entrepreneur, finance, and personal blogs. I do hope to have the chance to learn and share with the community.

Expect my writing on this community to be about anything interesting that inspired me to write. And I hope also to be able to contribute to the weekly prompts and community contest.

I would greatly appreciate your encouragement and support. I suppose that's where it ends for now. No man is an island of knowledge, so I'm open to corrections as well. Many thanks in advance.
