What goes on during the weekend
Making friends has always been one of my strength, I can walk up to a person and start a conversation and it would feel like we have known each other for a long time but all that changed after I change my location from the city which I reside (Lagos city) to a new city (Abuja) life hasn't been fair to me when it comes to finding friend in abuja probably because of the place I stay. I stay in a place where you hardly get to meet the next person living next to you. Everyone is always within their blocks and the people staying next to you are always indoors. The picture should explain more about the building.
Most times I'm always online chatting with friends I left behind in my previous home and we are always there chatting and face timing, but when they are offline disperse get a hold of me and I'm left with myself.
At first, I started taking a stroll every evening when I'm back from work. Luckily for me I met a girl. Her name is Mary and we became friends, though we meet mostly in the evening when I'm back from work and every Saturday. She's a very nice person and with her around I have learned to give rest to my phone.

As time went on I joined the youth choir in my church. At first I was always shy to talk or make suggestions. Even when I'm asked to sing I try as much as possible not to let my voice be heard because I'm scared of making mistakes. Soon enough I started making friends and we became pals.

I'm sure my phone will be glad I made friends because my thumbs are not always on it as they used to be. Now I can call 2 or 3 people asking to pay them a visit during the weekend. My weekend isn't full of disperse again like it used to. Now drop that phone, go out and make some good friends.
