Freewrite house prompt: And there came a flood

It was no newa again to the people living in malatori, when it is about to rain they vacate their houses and move to another place, either a friend house or they book an hotel. This has been the story of the Ogijo people. Sometimes I ask my dad, why cant they build new house and escape the trouble of the flood? but he would just smile.

I never knew the cost of building a house was ......

It was june 2021 after we all overcame covid-19. The day was bright and no sign of rain. Even the weather forcast never saw it coming. 11pm on thursday night the rain began and it didnt look like it would be a trouble but there was no stopping it. It rained so heavy that people in molatori started calling. Our sleep was disturb because 3 of my dads friends came with their wives and children to spend the remaining night.

They said the flood was so much and they had to escape for a safe place.........

And there goes my 5minutes. 😁😂. I will complete the story as a normal blog. Thanks for having me @freewrite @felt.buzz
