A Picnic At Presidential Millennium Park

The world is tough on us already and the only way to navigate around the toughness is to find things we love doing and find that person we love to be with.

Abuja, the big city and capital of the country of Nigeria (the Giant of Africa), was where I and my friends planned to spend some time together after we finished our service since there was no time we were all available to spend time together. Either two people aren’t available or something else came up to stop us from going out.

The 16th of December 2023 was the date we picked, and there was nothing stopping us now. The main day came, and I found myself at Millennium Park. It had such a beautiful view, as it was an evergreen land; it had water springs and a waterfall. There were a lot of people around, as they were also around to celebrate a good time with family and friends. We picked out a spot and spread our mat. Friends started coming one after the other, and people we didn’t know came around too because the picnic was tagged “Invite someone."

I couldn’t think of who I would invite because I don’t have many friends outside my friend circle, but I was able to bring a family relative.

The event started nicely, and we started by introducing ourselves. After the introductions were done, I was asked to say the names of some of the people who introduced themselves, and I couldn't, so I had to stand up. I was glad I wasn’t the only one standing, because some of them also didn’t remember my name.

After that segment, we started with the games. We were divided into five groups, and each group will nominate a teammate to demonstrate the word given to them while they act it out, and their teammates will guess what they are trying to demonstrate.

After that part, we went to a talk show with the title “Who is more difficult to approach to start a relationship, the male or the female?" I never knew some of my friends were love and relationship experts, and I have been suffering in silence. Anyway, I learned a lot from the conversations we had and all the contributions, so we moved on to item 7.Menu menu menu and then sport actives.

It was a great day and we had so much fun, I wish I can go back in time and replay the moment again but there are still more fun day to come.
