A better government with better development

One way to know that a town has a new good government in office is through the prosperity of the people and the development that is going on in the town. A year ago, as far as I can remember, the town I live in suffered from a bad road, and nothing has been done to it in all the years.

Due to this bad road, bikes and motorists have to find a new route to the main road daily—a longer route, to be precise. Most of the time, the road that could lead us to the bus stop, which would only take 8 minutes, was not available, so we had to take the longer route, which is nothing less than 15 minutes, to get to the bus stop. Due to the damage the road has caused, many people in my town have clamored a lot. The erosion was another thing to talk about because it has caused people to lose their businesses, but since the arrival of this new government in our state, there has been so much development in all areas.

This is the road we have been pleading for the government to help us fix. The construction of the road started last year in October. It is a road that leads from the bus stop deep into the town. The picture above shows when the road was still under construction. After a few more months, the development of the road continued, and here is a picture of when the construction started.

After much construction has taken place, here is the final result.

The construction of this road has brought a lot of change to our town, which I cannot list now. Many people have refused to come build their homes in our town because of road issues and erosion problems. Many people left their homes for another town or city; businesses died; and even the famous hotel in our town had to close down because it had no customers again and sales were low. The manager himself became a debtor in my mom's shop. It was sad to see him that way, though.

Since the construction of the road, we have experienced more vehicles passing through our town. Some shops are beginning to open again, and I am sure many people will begin to troop back into the town, leading to a more prosperous town. I can see a better tomorrow for my town, and I hope the development and good governance continue like this. Thank You.
