THE SIGNIFICANCE OF HAVING PETS

I'm so excited to have you on my blog this moment and I trust that you have been enjoying the month of April.
Pets are animal that are kept at home for special purposes. Pets are normally domesticated in nature and they are animals that are within the boundaries of homes. Some of these animals includes birds, dogs, duck, etc. Pets are very important and it depends on the purpose you acquired it.

One of the predominant pets around my axis in West Africa region called Nigeria is dogs. These kind of animals are kept and preserved for noble purposes whereas some keep it and later eat it. Dogs are used majorly here for security purposes. I could remember one of my friend that is in the Nigeria army. They used to have some special dogs properly trained and it helped them to detect their enemies easily. In some family certain, dogs are served for security and also companionship.

I remembered the dog my father bought while I was much younger. We named it Bingo. This dog has acquainted itself with virtually all members of the family. Once it noticed a stranger, it would start reacting. I became so used to this dog such that what ever I had, I ensured it gets to it no matter how little. This continues until one day the dog felt sick and couldn't recover from it and finally died. I almost cried because my pet is gone.

Pets like cat are very important at home especially areas where one battles with rat and other rodents. These cat would help stop mice, rat from intruding into the house. Sometimes back my mum bought one like. Once it starts vibrating, hmmm every other animals within are gripped with fear because the boss is around. This cat grew to an extent it became very big and suddenly disappeared from the house till date we couldn't trace it's bearing. Cat serves as security measures too almost like dog though their functionality differs a little.

In as much as pets serves for security, there are aspects too that some of these plays. It beautifies the home or environment. There are certain birds when you see them, you would always like to keep eyes on them. Like pigeon that my nephew rears for some years now. These birds can easily change the beauty of a place.

Local fauna are animals that found in a place like zoo, wild life park and other conserved areas. I had the privilege to check in one of the parks in Nigeria. It was awesome because I saw lion, python, ostrich and many other animals. Maintaining these local fauna is very good because it could be used for educational visit so that the younger ones would see these animals.

Invasive fauna on the other hand are the kind of animals that are introduced from foreign countries. They are imported usually. This might not be too good because it can transfer some disease it not quarantine properly. The government should give a strict policy on how this can be regulated and properly controlled.
