SOME FILTERED PICTURES ARE PSEUDO.

It's another lovely and beautiful fresh week and I trust that we are all ready to navigate through this week. Special thanks to everyone that has been consistent in the various engagements that goes on in this platform.

Here is my week 70 edition 1 entry regarding the theme clearly stated.
Generally in my natural sense I don't like taking pictures anyhow and if appears as if I snapped once in a while unlike other friends that I know.

Picture is very important and nice because it helps to keep memories alive and always fresh. When I saw this topic, initially I never knew I would be able to approach according to my level of understanding not until I had a little reflection before a concept started coming.

As I clearly stated, if I eventually snap pictures with my phone I Hadlly proceed to filter it except I stumbled in a photo studio where they would make do everything by themselves.
There was this when I was much younger and I enjoyed moving with my kid sister especially to take picture together.
As the power of socialisation continue to increase, I can't forget that day because the demand for my personal pictures to be used on social media, other great programme of the church.

As we entered the studio, my kid sister started take lots of shots with varied postures. Getting to my turn I started taking shot with high expectations of quality and naturality. The unfortunate thing is the mode of editing done hmmm I was completely transformed to much younger personality. Do you know that I almost doubted whether I was the one? How can they just filter me without having even a pimples or scratch on the face?this made to questioned the picture as if it ended up projecting someone's else face.
Since that day, I detest that any of my picture to be filtered like that because it would give a false image about myself.

I had been deceived also by one lady's picture. She likes making up herself which I have problem with and secondly the studio where she snapped they also filtered her again. I almost thought it was a white lady but friends when I met her physically, I felt very bad because I found it very difficult to believe she was the exact person I saw. The nose and face changed absolutely.

In as much filter of pictures is good but when it's filtered too much, it reduces the quality and the real image. Pseudo picture can cause problems in marital homes, could lead to broken relationship because what the guy saw does match image on his phone . That became the genesis of the challenge that led to the end of their relationship.

My counsel to most photographers is don't filter pictures too it will end up giving the a wrong perspective of such individuals. Therefore I counsel that the filtering of pictures is causing harm presently however let it be moderate.
