5 minutes freewrite prompt: house on fire
I have a long time friend that i have been meaning to meet, but when I got to their house, I realized that their house was on fire, I get down from the bike I drove and I assist in fetching of water and splashing it on the house.
The situation took more than an hour and before the emergency service could arrived we have already put out the fire on the house.
The emergency service workers congratulate us and told everyone who assist in putting out the fire that, we have really tried so much, these incidents brought the need for the authority to educate the people of that locality on how to handle fire at homes and offices, because it was just like a monthly situation around the localities.
My friend didn't see me because he was at the other side, trying to do all he could so that the fire would not penetrate more and destroy their things in the house.
But after it, he was surprised to see me there, he thank me and I was happy to give my assistant, according to him, he said none of them knows how the fire began, but he had an insight that, the fire came through the gate of the house.
After then, we went into his room and we took a bathe, because I was sweating and he too was sweating, the football wasn't exempted that day, we played football with his brother's, and each and everyone of us, even forget the situation of the other hour's, we did it as if nothing ever happened.
My friend mother prepared a sandwich and called all of us to go and have some, she was happy to see me, and as his son's friend, she is considering me as a family, because I am always treating as one in everything they do in the house.
