Weekend-Engagement topics: WEEK 184 ~ Away From Home
If you could re-experience any weekend from 2023 which would it be and why? Remember to use your own photos.
It's always fun whenever I get the opportunity to leave my hometown because the stress is real and I am beginning to get bored and tired of doing the same thing every day, every year over again till the end of the year.
This year, one of the most beautiful experiences I had during one of the weekends was traveling out to another state for a friend's wedding, I was so expectant that I mapped out in my mind how I was going to spend the weekend after the wedding ceremony.
We all planned to stay into the new week since we were on break and had nothing to do in our various homes, I mean it was an opportunity to take a break from our normal routine. We visited some beautiful places with the friends that I went with, I couldn't take pictures because I forgot, I mean I was so engrossed in being in a new city that I forgot to take pictures of the beautiful places we went to.
We didn't want to stay at home, since it was Sunday, so we ended up attending a church close to the residence where we were all staying, and since it was a church that wasn't against going into the House of God without a covering over our head, we all went in that way. We praised, worshiped, and thanked God with so much joy and went home to continue the adventure in a new city.
I would wish to re-experience this weekend and hope to re-experience next year because it is going to be days or weekends away from home.
