intervals, 3rd this week

(Edited)

It was the third intervals session this week. This time one repetition shorter 5 times 3 minutes of a reasonably quick pace with usual warmups, cooldowns, and jogs-in-between.

I decided to do it on a track and so I went to the Tacen track which is a part of the Police Academy campus. The track used to be open to the public yet now the area is fenced. I didn't know that. Luckily, the officer on duty was kind enough and let me in when he heard what are my plans.

It was hot yet the exercise was very rewarding. I did it at a quicker pace that I intended to.

3 minute intervals pace: 4:46, 4:45, 4:35, 4:24, 4:20. Nice.

An average pace was 5:35 which is always a surprise to me, with so many slow section ran. Anyways, I feel much better than after the Thursday's intervals. Maybe a regular workout is starting to show. Maybe.

Tomorrow, a 2:30 hours long slow run. I'll go in the forest and climb some hills. Nothing major and all at a very modest pace.

Have a great weekend.

The report above was meant to be published from Strava to Hive via @strava2hive. Yet, it stuck somehow so I am reposting it manually. @run-vince-run, could you, please, check, what has happened? It might be that I had two activities on Saturday (1 and 2) and the second one somehow blocked the posting of the first. Thank you, Vince.

better and better
