risk and reward on the wintery coast

winter is setting in here along the coast. some of the smoothed rocks have a nearly invisible thin layer of ice so they can be deceptively slippery. it is risky scrambling around on them. but the reward is some nice photo shots. definitely not an asymmetrical opportunity but the ratio improves with suitable footwear, technical skill and careful observation of where and where not to step. this time taking the risk paid off but it may be my last attempt this year.

That's a risky move, but it really paid off because these are wonderful photos.
The first photo shows how dangerous to walk on such a place is.
Well, like you said.
Careful checking and knowing where to stop is assurance to safely, you applied it well.
