more seaside rust

On our trip to Helgelandskysten we stayed in a house right by the fjord. the first evening I took a short stroll down to the water's edge

to check out the old boathouse and the rocky shoreline.

just as i reached the shack i got sidetracked with all the rusted objects lying around it, begging to be photographed.

while i originally wanted to photograph the boathouse something else grabbed my attention- the geology. the interesting mix of slate, granite and marble below all this marvelous rust, grass and sand

the changeover of the clearly visible sections of yellow and blue-gray marble meeting the granite

provided an ideal backdrop for the shooting

so much to take in and in the middle of it all my friends showed up and wanted to take me in their boat out fishing! to be continued.

Undoubtedly, beauty is in the eyes that know how to observe. These images are fascinating and you managed to capture not only the deterioration, but also the beauty hidden in these objects and in nature. There is a whole concept of the passage of time in your images. Regards, @eolianpariah2

Exploring the coastal charm of Helgelandskysten, I stumbled upon a rustic boathouse and captivating geological formations. Nature's artistry, a blend of slate, granite, and marble, became an irresistible subject. As friends beckoned for a fishing adventure, the story continues.

Beautiful photos.
The best are the ones where you have zoomed in on your subject.
The colour combination of the brown rust, greyish wood and blue metal is particularly well captured.
How lucky you are to be able to visit such a beautiful location.
