Should we have children whilst so many kids in the world are suffering? || ecoTrain QOTW

I must confess that when I read the article in my mind, in my crazy mind, it was as if a spotlight came on and shined on me. Go girl, go and talk about your point of view on the matter because questions like: Is our world in such a bad state that children suffer too much? Are things better or worse than they have been before? These are the ones I ask myself on a daily basis, and it's funny, because I have noticed that most of the time these dilemmas are triggered by phrases like "What about you, you, when? At your age I already had my first child" or "You have to have a child before you are 25, that's the perfect age to give birth to a baby.

The world... I am an advocate of optimism as a way of life, therefore, I will not insist on projecting my opinion in a radical but somewhat objective way. And that is why I can affirm that the world was what it was and is what it is, a place inhabited by human beings full of humanity and the only thing that has really advanced are the sciences, that multiverse of positive, negative or fatal probabilities, such as, for example, a pandemic caused by a virus escaped from a laboratory in Wuhan or a massive demonstration calling for legalized abortion. So here you will say, it is not the first time that an outbreak or a proliferation of a virus occurs, or is an attended abortion better than a clandestine one, and to that I answer: Are these actions separate from each other or is there any relation between them? The truth is that both are infallible methods of birth control.

But why would the governments of the world want birth control? Assuming it were true, of course. The sciences. The theory of the sun engulfing the earth is not just a theory, pollution in a few years will destroy the ozone layer. And what about the alarming poverty statistics? Entire economies plummeting using excuses like "scarcity", not to mention the total non-existence of raw materials, and wars of all kinds are fought for power, disguised with a campaign that makes us feel like Alice in Wonderland.

Danny Shine, activist, better known as "The Madman with the Megaphone" said: "To reproduce is a mistake, and everyone should ask their parents for compensation because they had no choice but to be born" Without supporting or condemning this statement, in a world where what Shine said was real... Could we pay the cost that our children would demand? Could we pay the condemnation to which we have subjected them in these times?

I understand that it is not fair to put social welfare before one's own happiness, because as I heard, there is no greater satisfaction than to hold in your arms a life that you have given life to and yet, thinking about the vicissitudes that I myself have faced and the number of possible situations that this child may face, put an end to any illusion that was being born in me of having a child.

Out of this vision, I am a fervent believer that ignorance is bliss and knowledge is power... Human reproduction is something natural, something that is not even questionable, it is taken for granted. For example: If a young couple gets married, it is most likely that someday they will have children. But this circle, including the couple, do know this, they do not delve into the fact of seeing the family as the fundamental pillar of society, and a million factors come into play that will form a new individual for and by society and the contribution, good or bad that he gives, has everything to do with these million factors. It is not about bringing a child into the world, it is about raising awareness.

Everyone makes their own decisions and this is mine: I don't want to have children for now and I don't know for how long. Imagining the scenario with children in the condition I am in at the moment makes me think, why not wait for a better time? I mean, there's no rush nor is it an obligation. I would also like to help in some way many of the children who are currently abandoned and underprivileged.

Well as for me i think it is not compulsory we must give birth to a child,i will prefer adopting a child, there are so many kids out there who have no parents ,instead of over-populating the society maybe we should begin to understand that adoption is not a bad idea

Yeah. That's a great idea too. In fact it is something that is an option in my way of thinking and seeing things about this. Thanks for reading and commenting!
