Beautiful Sunday + Sublime Sunday
Another yummilicious chicken one pot rice cooked with my air fryer.
Found out that the surface of the chicken which is facing up will be brown and "crispy" if I cook it long enough at high temperature. So to avoid burning the chicken, I have to split the cooking time to two or three times so I can turn the chicken.
Besides chicken, I added a few other ingredients to the rice. I have potato, carrot, tomato, onion and garlic. All these are added into the rice and cooked together. Japanese cucumber was added on top as side.
My girls love this kind of one pot rice, especially my second girl. Me too actually. I like my rice to have flavor and taste. This is why I love nasi lemak, chicken rice, yam rice, etc... 😋😋😋

I think many things cook with the airfryer need split duration to turn if you want the crisp around.
Yup, exactly like what you said. I am still trial and error testing how many times I need to turn the chicken to get it brown evenly.
