FISHER SILVERMITHS STERLING SILVER COFFEE POT 9437

Hello everybody!

Being a micro roaster of coffee, and a total addict to espresso, I was always looking for a sterling silver coffee pot. I happened upon this Fisher Sterling Silver Coffee pot, pattern 9437.

It stands about 9” tall and has a delicate design, perfect for those formal occasions (or not).

I’ve only been able to learn that the Fisher Silversmiths, Inc., was in business from around 1930 to 1970. It was started by Sam Fisher, a Russian immigrant, in Providence, Rhode Island. I have not been able to determine the specific year this coffee pot was made. I also seem to remember the owner stating they had replaced the little ivory like rings on the handle of the pot.

This coffee pot weighs in at 13.705 Troy Ounces which is a nice tidy amount. My unstackablestackables add to my silver investments and allow me to enjoy them for both their form, and for their antiquity. Some things you can kind of almost hide in plain sight!

Thanks for stopping by and please leave your comments below. Have a wonderful day/evening!

Thank you @silversaver888! My first interest in stacking was rounds with pretty pictures on them and then I discovered the #unstackablestackables! I love your #unstackablestackable articles because they show me silver in a different format from rounds or bars. There are many uses of silver and I am learning about them. Thank you.
