1. My question is: do you think that in these times it is still a taboo to talk about female sexual pleasure? What do you know about your clitoris? Do you feel that you have full control over your sexual pleasure or do you simply leave the job to your partner?

The clitoris is an important part of the female genital that enables one to experience sexual pleasure and very sensitive. However, some women were unlucky because they were subjected to female circumcision and their clitoris were being cut off. The mindset was to curb promiscuity in girls/women, and prevent pre-marital sex and early pregnancy, but this prevented these women from enjoying sex, and some lost the urge totally, this issue has ruined so many marriages and thereby causing trauma.

Deciding to have sex or not should be a personal decision made by a woman and not the society depriving a woman of that right from childhood. While growing up whenever the elderly women see a young girl that got pregnant outside wedlock, their conclusion will be that her parents should have cut out the clitoris when she was a child. Female circumcision is still being practised in some places as their culture, without considering the side effects it has on the girlchild

And even those that didn't go through female circumcision were not allowed to discuss it, it is seen as a taboo, talking amongst peers have to be in whispers for fear of being caught in that kind of gist. Years back to my first menstruation was my mum telling me if I get close to a man I would get pregnant, this creates so much fear in me, and a lot of questions which I dreaded to ask, there was no room for sex education, all thanks to Biology teachers who gave us at least some hints about reproduction especially the female reproductive system.

I don't think I have full control over my sexual pleasure since it has to be between two people. I and my partner, and with communication and studying the body very well, learning more about the clitoris and it's importance in the female body. This will create a room for exploration.

2.Water is Life and it is also a non-renewable resource. There are countries where access to water is very limited, while in other countries, water is wasted. Tell us how aware you are of this future problem (water scarcity) and how you manage this valuable resource.

Water is very essential in the life of human. We need it for so many things, washing, cleaning, bathing and so on. Before water supply was regular, as at 2006 we still had a running water in our rented apartment, through the water corporation company and we pay bills, it was more convenient, we know there will be water every Thursdays and Sundays, at times the poor management by the people in the neighborhood causes broken pipes and leakages, which had to be repaited by the community, but this benefits did not circulate everywhere, some people didn't have pipe or tap,

When we packed to another area, everyone try to source for their own water, either through borehole or well. To drill a borehole is expensive and not everyone could afford that kind of money. My dad always tell us not to waste water because we buy it and put in storex, water doesn't come back when used, it's all gone 😁. There are times that the people who sell water to us complain of not getting chemical to treat the water,or no fuel in their car, times when we had to manage the unclean one.

The ground is rocky where we stay and takes a lot of effort to get water in the well, that's one of the reasons people opted for borehole but expensive, during raining season we have abundance of water, and have to struggle to get water during harmattan (dry season) If care is not taken there will be more scarcity of water in the future. The government needs to make effort as this is a basic amenity that we are entitled to.
