Good evening hivers. You are welcome to my blog. I find this topic by @mypathtofire very interesting. No doubt we all eat, and we get to purchase from different places. I will be telling you about how I get mine.

Shopping for food items is a very important adventure that requires making a food shopping list, to prevent excess buying and staying focused on what you need. It saves time and money, there are moments that I forget to write a list of what I want to buy, on getting to the market I get attracted to buy other things even though I need it but not on my budget for that moment. I end up spending more than I want.

I do my food shopping most in the market, where I have the opportunity of selecting, you can find more than one seller with the same type of food, this gives me the opportunity to select the best.I like to buy fruits too, fruit is a very important source of vitamins and minerals, this I usually buy from the Hausa vendor

Semovita is my favourite swallow and always part of my food shopping, I make sure I check for the expiry date to get it fresh, neat and edible.

No dish seems to be complete without pepper. Apart from it being used as sauces, flavourings, and spices. Pepper is used to give food a brighter look, it is one of the most important spices,so natural,it may be eaten fresh, cooked with a meal or prepared as a powder(ata gigun). That's why I love to buy my pepper to prepare soup,I make it a mixture of tatase(red bell pepper), this is not so pepperish, just to add colour and aroma to it, ata rodo(chili pepper), and tomatoes then I grind it with grinding machine and make it into soup

This cost #800 and I feel the quantity is not enough so I bought gino tomato paste to increase it so it can last for long.I bought beef(cow meat) at the rate of #700.
