FEED YOUR FOCUS, STARVE YOUR DISTRACTIONS
source
A week that I spent in the fashion designing shop. I just resumed there so I observed this particular girl there, most young boys there always come to her side to disturb her especially when she is sewing and she keeps laughing with them, she hardly tell them to stop disturbing her that she has things to do.
If she didn't allow this from the onset I believe they will never try that with her, when people do something to you and they notice you didn't complain, they will keep doing this to you.
This thing annoys the boss and she keeps talking to her anyhow, at first when I noticed the way she talks to her I kept wondering why and she doesn't speak to others in such manner, this made me realize that the way you present yourself to others matters alot.
It's a good thing to play at least to have fun, infact working all day without play might be boring but we need to strike a balance. When you are at work, do it and when it is time to play you can do that too. However, if you want to achieve your goals in life, you need to learn to overcome distractions and become focused.
Always be aware that your energy goes where your focus goes to, so don't waste it on something not beneficial. Any time wasted cannot be gotten back. Don't allow distractions to continue stealing your time and energy, because you need to divert this time and energy to things that will support your dreams and goals

Just a small piece of advice...
Interact with others (by commenting on other Hive members' posts) a bit more, but keep in mind that leaving a comment without giving an upvote to the author of the article may also appear as just an attempt to seek the attention for yourself without willing to contribute. In general, Hive members don't like it.
By upvoting others you wouldn't lose anything. Quite the contrary, you will gain more!
Now, when your HP (Hive Power) is quite small (far below 500), it would be smart always to give a 100% upvote (to avoid a chance of wasted vote because of Hive dust threshold) but keep in mind that in such case, you would have only 10-11 votes available per day.
Meaning, with such 10 or 11 (100% upvotes) given per day, your VP (Voting Power) will drop from 100% to 80%. But that's perfectly OK, as the VP automatically regenerates 20% per day. So, the following day, at about the same time when your last vote was given, you'll have again 100% VP and, with it a chance to give another 10-11 upvotes to others.
On top of all that, and no matter how little your current upvote value is, you will earn for yourself 50% of its value that would show up in your wallet as a Curation Reward 7 days after the post you've upvoted, was published.
In other words, publishing your own articles on Hive is just one of the earning ways that may thicken your wallet, while giving upvotes to others is another. Don't miss that great Hive opportunity! 🙂
