SAO and "Virtual Reality" [ES-EN]
Hola chicos, hoy quise unir mis 2 amores, el anime y la tecnología, justo por eso el anime que quiero hablar es SAO, ya que este marco un gran estándar para lo que pueden llegar a ser los videojuegos en un futuro. Pero primero hablemos del anime que apuesto que una gran mayoría lo ha visto y si no, espero no contar spoiler, aunque a esta altura de su vida, hay muchos por internet.
SAO es un anime donde nuestro protagonista es el game tester, pero no de cualquier juego que corra en una computadora o consola de la actualidad. Él es uno de los que está probando una nueva tecnología de inmersión total para jugar, que es un casco llamado NerveGear, que suprime todos los movimientos del cuerpo que se están ejerciendo en el videojuego.
Como era la innovación, todos querían probarlo en la fecha de su apertura al público, cuando el juego estaba en su punto máximo de jugadores, el creador del NerveGear, modifico las interfaces de usuario borrando el botón de salida. Esto trajo grandes problemas, ya que sí llegabas a morir dentro del juego, morias en la vida real o si te quitaban el casco, morias de igual forma. La única manera de salir era avanzar por los pisos del Aincrad, un enorme castillo con difíciles enemigos. Hasta llegar a vencer al jefe final.
Ya con esta corta sinopsis, tenemos una idea de un mundo futurista en el área de los videojuegos, ahora imaginen eso en el mundo real. ¿Suena loco no?, en la actualidad han querido vender unas enormes gafas llamándolas "gafas de realidad virtual", algo que para mí está muy lejos de poderse llamar de esa forma. Con la premisa del anime que les hable, por lo menos yo, no estoy de acuerdo que lleven ese nombre, es un gran nombre para un producto que podría ser el 1% de la realidad virtual que se quiere llegar.
Yo he tenido la oportunidad de probarlas en más de un par de ocasiones, debo confesar que es genial, pero... no tan genial como se pinta, aunque sé que todo es simplemente estrategias de mercado, y ya, no hay misterio.
Lo que les hable aquí es solo el inicio, un inicio que... para mi marco un gran anime, más porque me gustan los videojuegos. Imaginen sonar con ese futuro, solo espero estar vivo, cuando la inmersión total en un videojuego sea un hecho.
Volviendo al anime, SAO tiene 4 temporadas, pero pasa algo con las 2 primeras, ya que cada una tiene 2 arcos y parece que fueran más temporadas. Las 2 últimas témporas, para mí fueron épicas, hay mucho contenido que quizás se esté probando en la actualidad. Si no las han visto, no se van a arrepentir.

Hi guys, today I wanted to unite my 2 loves, anime and technology, that's exactly why the anime I want to talk about is SAO, since it set a great standard for what video games can become in the future. But first let's talk about the anime that I bet a great majority has seen it and if not, I hope not to tell spoilers, although at this point in your life, there are many on the internet.
SAO is an anime where our protagonist is the game tester, but not of any game that runs on a computer or console today. He is one of those who is testing a new technology of total immersion to play, which is a helmet called NerveGear, which suppresses all body movements that are being exercised in the video game.
As was the innovation, everyone wanted to test it on the date of its opening to the public, when the game was at its peak of players, the creator of the NerveGear, modified the user interfaces by deleting the exit button. This brought big problems, because if you died in the game, you died in real life or if they removed your helmet, you died the same way. The only way out was to advance through the floors of Aincrad, a huge castle with difficult enemies. Until you reach the final boss.
With this short synopsis, we have an idea of a futuristic world in the area of video games, now imagine that in the real world. It sounds crazy doesn't it, nowadays they wanted to sell huge glasses calling them "virtual reality glasses", something that for me is far from being able to be called that way. With the premise of the anime I'm talking about, at least I don't agree with that name, it's a great name for a product that could be the 1% of virtual reality that they want to reach.
I have had the opportunity to try them on more than a couple of occasions, I must confess that it is great, but ... not as great as it is painted, although I know that everything is just marketing strategies, and that's it, there is no mystery.
What I told you here is just the beginning, a beginning that... for me is a great anime, more because I like videogames. Imagine sounding with that future, I just hope to be alive, when the total immersion in a videogame is a fact.
Back to the anime, SAO has 4 seasons, but something happens with the first 2, as each one has 2 arcs and it seems like more seasons. The last 2 seasons, for me were epic, there is a lot of content that is perhaps currently being sampled. If you haven't seen them, you won't regret it.

The first time I watched SAO, I thought the premise of getting caught up in the game was a marvel (and I still do), but I honestly didn't like its execution and the following seasons didn't like it much either, Kirito practically turned into a male version of Mary Sue. But I still really like the concept of the series. Thanks for sharing 😊
La primera vez que vi SAO, pensé que era una maravilla la premisa de quedar atrapado en el juego (y aún lo creo), pero sinceramente no me gustó mucho su ejecución y más siguientes temporadas tampoco me gustaron mucho, Kirito se volvió prácticamente en una Mary Sue versión hombre. Pero me sigue gustando mucho el concepto de la serie. Gracias por compartir 😊
la verdad si, a kirito le falto algo, es feo cuando un anime solo se basa en su protagonista, teniendo una gran cantidad de personajes que velen la pena.

Sword art online. Recuerdo haber jugado uno de sus vídeojuegos hace mucho tiempo, muy bueno por cierto. En cuanto a la serie siempre he pensado en verla pero al final no lo hago y veo otra jaja. Buenas reseña amigo

SAO es un anime cuya primer temporada me atrapo y fue el motivo por el cual quise seguir viendo a medida que salian sus nuevas temporadas. Las que siguieron no me gustaron del todo hasta que salio Alicization y se convirtio en mi favorita ❤️ considero que fue la mejor jaja aun asi, es un muy buen anime, tiene profundidad en su historia, pero me quedo con esas temporadas no mas 😂

hola... creo que la segunda temporada fue como relleno, aunque si estaba buena la trama y fue la que le dio vida a la tercera temporada y cuarta temporada, que aún espero la 5ta, hay muchas cosas que quedaron sin resolver en ese anime jajajaja

Es gratificante cuando vemos historias que involucran varios de nuestros gustos, tal y como aquí lo ejemplificas. SAO es de esos anime que son bastante populares, pero de los cuales aún no siento la atracción necesaria para verlo, creo que no es de mis géneros favoritos.
Por otra parte, debo recordarte que es fundamental visitar y apoyar los post de los otros usuarios, de esa forma es que toma sentido el hecho de que somos una comunidad.

Creo que no es un anime para todo el mundo, ya que su trama principal es la inmersión en los videojuegos y ese tipo de tecnologías a veces puede causar miedo 😅

I remember watching SAO when I was in university more than 10 years ago. I actually just watched the first season, I enjoyed it a lot, but never checked GGO and the rest of them. One of my uni friends would wear his motorcycle helmet and suddenly shout "Link Start!!!!". hahaha
hahahahahahahaha I laughed a lot with what your friend was doing, I never thought of that, I didn't watch GGO either, I don't know, for me it's like jumping between the branches and not finishing the main anime.
I recommend you to watch SAO Alicization, both seasons are very good.

SAO es mi anime favorito y la verdad siempre he querido que pueda llegar el momento de jugar videojuegos como en SAO, tener la inmersión total y que puedas realmente sentir que te transportaste al mundo y no que simplemente estas jugando un videojuego con la pantalla completamente pegada a tu cara jajaja.
la verdad todo el arco de Underword fue increible, aunque usaron algo de CGI quedo muy genial y las escenas de combate y las Skil Sword fueron fantásticas, la priemra temporada fue algo peculiar y no me gusto que fuera tan corto el arco de Aincrad aunque para eso estan sacando las peliculas de Progressive y la novela ligera si aprovecha al maximo la cantidad de pisos y lo variado de cada uno de ellos :D
SAO is my favorite anime and the truth is that I've always wanted to be able to play video games like in SAO, to have total immersion and really feel that you were transported to the world and not just playing a video game with the screen completely glued to your face hahaha.
The truth is that the whole Underword arc was incredible, even though they used some CGI it was really cool and the combat scenes and the Skil Sword were fantastic, the first season was a bit peculiar and I didn't like that the Aincrad arc was so short, although that's why they're making the Progressive movies and the light novel takes full advantage of the amount of stories and the variety of each one of them :D
yo solo espero, estar vivo para cuando llegue ese momento, de poder estar dentro de un videojuego y que todos mis movimientos se vean reflejados en él. Eso sí sería la evolución de este mundo

I watched SAO late last year, and I can say that I was captivated by the first season. Maybe due to the first season hype, the second season was kind of boring for me. The GGO and alicization are also interesting, though. I loved it.

Vi SAO a finales del año pasado y puedo decir que quedé cautivado por la primera temporada. Quizás debido al revuelo de la primera temporada, la segunda temporada fue un poco aburrida para mí. Sin embargo, el GGO y la alicización también son interesantes. Me encantó.

la segunda temporada si fue como más lenta, creo que por eso se tornó aburrida, el GGO hmmm... yo decidí no verlo, de igual forma no tiene relevancia con la saga general.

The first time I saw this anime I really liked it and most of all when the protagonist becomes so powerful that he can no longer be harmed by low level, as it has a fairly strong regeneration, I only saw until the part of the fairies and for me that anime ended because what follows I really did not follow it and I thought it was good to leave it until there although many of my friends say to keep watching it but I really liked how the part of the fairies ended.
