Declutter and Detox Month

Because January normally feels like 3 months in one, I will take my time to get things ready for the year..or at least try!

There are many things I want to do and others to take care and I tend to get overwhelmed and turn on the procrastination mode and then feel guilty lol

So one thing at the time!

First, get rid of things that "doesn't spark joy" anymore (Marie Kondo reference hehe!)

From decluttering the house to even declutter the PC! Keep things as organized as possible!

And just that can be overwhelming so I take notes!

I got myself a Moleskine notebook and I've been journaling since day 1. I write down what I have in mind and what I'm going to do on that day, even the silliest things! At least try to get in the habit of it, because declutter the brain is also important!

I also have an Infinitebook! And this one is pretty cool!

It's like a portable whiteboard where you can write everything and wipe it out and write again!
There are many varieties of this notebook but mine is the planner version!

Besides a to-do list, it has a weekly and monthly planner and white sheets to write anything!

Other things to turn myself more organized, I've been using Notion!
It's pretty much a digital organizer and you can get pre-made templates of a variety of things you want to track and write down.

For example, I found a 52-week savings challenge template in Euros so I've using it for my FIAT savings!

And I've been trying to get into an habit tracker to have that sense of completion lol besides getting in the habit of some things!

Speaking of habits, you probably want to get into a million things too so don't forget to keep the list simple! Once you get used to some, add more!

I only talked about declutter, what about detox?

In a way, you are detoxing yourself for being overwhelmed and anxious from all the things you want to do and get done!

But there are other things you can add, get into the habit, that also can help you detox!

There are two habits I want to get used to: meditation and reading!

Meditating at least 15 minutes and read 20 pages a day will be my goal this year to turn into an habit!

Keeping myself as organised as possible will give the time I need to create and post more too!

And for that I also have the extra slap from @jongolson any now and then! Keep them coming sir!
