Hello everyone!

I will be covering the best takeaways from the book I'm reading with the CTP Mastermind Group.

To know more about the book, you can click on the image above and it will redirect to its main website, or just follow me for the next few posts!

Part 2 is about finding your expertise area, your niche and how you can help your audience through your best skills combined with your knowledge areas.

Chapter 3 TakeAway - Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can. - Arthur Ashe

Finding your niche is crucial but more important than that is finding your sweet spot, your area of expertise that can be an audience desire.

The more specific your target audience the better you can help them according to your skills.

Chapter 4 TakeAway - Be the "lobby boy".

Have you watched the movie The Grand Budapest Hotel? It is a very cool movie in my opinion!

On page 51 the author compares us to the lobby boy as someone who knows the clients so well that he could anticipate their needs.

Your job is to learn your audience so well that you'll be able to develop ongoing content that is so good, the people in your audience weren't even aware they needed it in the first place.

My thoughts so far

I find myself a bit conflicted sometimes to understand what I'm good at. I know that I'm a fast learner and practice makes it better, but not sure if I'm really an expert at something.

What you can do is choose something you like and turn into an expert from it.

For example, the more I got into the ClickTrackProfit training the better I understood the concept and I got more curious and wanted to know more. I also understood that the training could be too overwhelming for some people and they would need some guidance.

I think I found a target audience.
And learned more and more about CTP enough to become an expert or something near at least!

And created CTP Blueprint :)

Still learning about this program owner thing and many other things so I can be better and better every day!

Being part of the CTP Community, be there for them and working in customer support makes me more aware of what people could need and adapt my content towards that.

You don't need to have the biggest niche, you just need to be dedicated to help one person at a time :)

That's about it for today?

Thanks for sharing the takeaways from Part 2 of the book the group is currently reading. I like that way that you share your insights after you list the takeaways. I normally take something away from your posts.

Thank you for sharing. I'm still working my way through the content. It's a lot 😅

As my time is limited, I try to get through a few training videos a day, alternating between those, creating content, engaging, and running my other business.

It's all a matter of managing our time the best we can!
Creating content at the start might be tricky which is understandable, fortunately commenting and engaging can be as rewarding if not more than creating blog posts, so thank you for stopping by :)

Use what you have. Do what you can.

My whole approach on Hive. I don't waste my time chasing stuff I don't know. Just focus on what I know and learn.

For sure! Any now and then I would like to have content to share on LeoFinance for example so I could be more present there. "Numbers" are not my thing so I'll just stick with what I can do for now lol

I still have a hard time pinning down what I am an expert in. I feel like I know a little bit about a bunch of topics. Targeting an audience has been an ongoing challenge for me. But I understand why it gives us an advantage. I like what you said about practice making us better at a skill. I think perfection really isn't attainable.

Since you started with My1440 and "Project Z", my advice would be to learn more about the subject. Gather up as much information as you can get about it or at least enough to feel comfortable talking about it. When it gets too comfortable, move to more information, maybe the same subject but other perspectives if there are any and so on. The key is focus and knowing a bit of everything can be a gift and a curse if that makes sense.

Yes, now that I am finished with the offline gig I have more of my 1440 to allocate to those projects. Focus is necessary. I feel too scattered sometimes. And I agree, that a little bit of knowledge about too many things can cause more trouble than good sometimes. Have a great weekend and thanks for the tips! 😀

The book must be quite informative and a collectable. I just concluded after reading you post, that being in the crypto world is an unending continuous learning process. Thanks.

It is a crypto rabbit hole for sure lol but as you learn from it and more importantly use it/take things into practice, the more comfortable you get and it gets easier to understand and then you can move on to other things like Defi and all that crazy crypto stuff that I also need to learn still!
