Sightseeing in Paris 🗼: Getting to know the ✨Notre Dame✨ Cathedral // Haciendo turismo en París🗼: Conociendo la Catedral ✨"Notre Dame"✨
Greetings to all travel lovers and especially to this respected community @pinmapple. Today sharing a short trip through some corners of Paris.
It is exciting for me to tell the adventures knowing some streets and emblematic places of this bohemian and historical city. In this opportunity I tell you what was my experience getting to know one of the most emblematic religious monuments of Paris and all France.
The day we decided to visit this Cathedral we were caught in the rain in the middle of our tour. To get there we had to walk, we arrived a little soaked to see this spectacular building.
Saludos a todos los amantes viajeros y especialmente a esta respetada comunidad @pinmapple. Hoy compartiendo un corto viaje por algunos rincones de París.
Es para mí emocionante contar las aventuras conociendo algunas calles y lugares emblemáticos de esta bohemia e histórica ciudad. En esta oportunidad les cuento lo que fué mi experiencia conociendo uno de los monumentos religiosos más emblemáticos de París y toda Francia.
El día que decidimos conocer esta Catedral nos agarró la lluvia en medio de nuestro recorrido. Para llegar hasta allí tuvimos que caminar, llegamos un poco empapadas a conocer esta espectacular edificación.
I tell you that the church was closed and we could not enter since it is under restoration due to the fire it suffered in the recent year 2019. It was covered with scaffolding and closed to some distance. Despite that there was a stage set up so that visitors could contemplate and photograph one of the oldest churches in the world.
There were many tourists visiting like us and admiring what could be seen. From the stage in the drizzling rain we were able to take pictures of this Cathedral. When I heard its name I was reminded of the movie "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" which was called Quasimodo.
This Cathedral as you can see in the pictures, has two towers on each side in a symmetrical way and was built approximately in the year 1163 Source, the name Notre Dame means according to what I consulted Our Lady.
Les cuento que la iglesia estaba cerrada y no pudimos entrar ya que se encuentra en restauración por el incendio que sufrió en el año reciente 2019 . Estaba tapada con andamios y cerrado el paso hasta cierta distancia. A pesar de eso había una tarima habilitada para que los visitantes pudieran contemplar y fotografiar una de las Iglesias más antiguas del mundo.
Habían muchos turistas visitando como nosotras y admirando lo que se podía ver. Desde la tarima en medio de la llovizna pudimos tomar fotos de esta Catedral. Cuando escuchaba su nombre me acordaba de la película del "Jorobado de Notre Dame" que se llamaba Quasimodo.
Ésta Catedral como pueden observar en las fotos, cuenta con dos torres a cada lado de forma simétrica y fué construida aproximadamente en el año 1163 fuente, el nombre Notre Dame significa de acuerdo a lo que consulté Nuestra Señora.
It should be noted that this is the second fire to which this religious monument has been subjected. Important events such as the beatification of Joan of Arc and the coronation of Napoleon Bonaparte, among others, took place in this church.
The Cathedral "Notre Dame" with its beautiful architectural design is one of the most important religious treasures and symbols of France. As far as we were able to learn, it is planned to open its doors to the public in 2024.
Friends, even though we were not able to enter, I feel satisfied to be able to see in person one of the most spectacular constructions I have ever seen and what is more important, to know that it was built in honor of the Virgin Mary.
Cabe destacar que este es el segundo incendio a la cual ha sido objeto este monumento religioso. En esta iglesia se llevaron a cabo eventos importantes como la beatificación de Juana de Arco y la coronación de Napoleón Bonaparte, entre otros.
La Catedral "Notre Dame" con su bello diseño arquitectónico es uno de los tesoros y símbolos religiosos más importantes de Francia. Por lo que pudimos conocer se tiene planificado abrir las puertas al público a partir del año 2024.
Amigos a pesar que no pudimos entrar me siento satisfecha de poder conocer en persona uno de la construcciones más espectaculares que he visto y lo que es más importante, saber que se realizó en honor a la virgen María.
Hopefully it will soon be repaired so that many natives and world travelers can appreciate the architectural beauty of the thirteenth century and that despite all the modifications and restorations still stands this magnificent monument, treasure and religious and historical symbol of Paris.

Si amiga @leisasa fué un sueño ir a París fueron sólo tres días muy intensos de gran emoción conociendo y visitando sitios que sólo había visto en películas. Que gratos momentos vividos. Feliz de compartirlos en esta linda comunidad de viaje. Un gusto saludarte y desearte lo mejor 🤗.
