Me da mucho gusto estar aqui con ustedes en este fin de semana compartiendo uno de los edificaciones y monumentos más representativos de nuestro Patrimonio Histórico, Cultural y Religioso. Se trata de la Iglesia Santa Inés. ¿Quién no la conoce?. Este Imponente templo religioso está ubicado en el Centro Histórico de Cumaná, edo. Sucre específicamente en el sector de San Francisco, calle Sucre.

It gives me great pleasure to be here with you this weekend sharing one of the most representative buildings and monuments of our Historical, Cultural and Religious Heritage. This is the Santa Inés Church. Who doesn't know it? This imposing religious temple is located in the Historic Center of Cumaná, Sucre State, specifically in the sector of San Francisco, Sucre Street.

La Iglesia Santa Inés ha sufrido daños estructurales ocasionados por el último evento sísmico, afectando parcialmente su estructura. Desde ese momento se han llevado a cabo trabajos de restauración. En años recientes fué cambiado el color de su fachada, resaltando aun más sus detalles arquitectónicos y diseño en general. Deseo como cumanesa que se sigan ejecutando las labores de restauración definitiva. Actualmente las actividades religiosas se están llevando a cabo casi con normalidad, ya que estuvo cerrada durante la pandemia.
Esta hermosa Iglesia lleva su nombre en honor a la virgen de Santa Inés, "Patrona de Cumaná". Por lo que tiene un importante valor para todos los cumaneses y sucrenses. Los que nacimos en esta linda tierra oriental, Primogénita del Continente; nos sentimos muy orgullosos. Como ustedes saben el 21 de enero de cada año celebramos el día de nuestra Patrona Santa Inés. Día especial para congregarnos en esta majestuosa Iglesia a rendir honor.
The Santa Inés Church suffered structural damage caused by the last seismic event, partially affecting its structure. Since then, restoration work has been carried out. In recent years the color of its façade has been changed, highlighting even more its architectural details and general design. I wish as a Cumanese that the definitive restoration work continues to be carried out. Currently religious activities are being carried out almost normally, since it was closed during the pandemic.
This beautiful church is named in honor of the virgin of Santa Inés, "Patron Saint of Cumaná ". So it has an important value for all cumaneses and sucrenses. Those of us who were born in this beautiful oriental land, First-born of the Continent; we feel very proud. As you know on January 21 of each year we celebrate the day of our Patron Saint Agnes. Special day to congregate in this majestic church to pay honor.

De niña recuerdo a mi mamá llevando a mís hermanos y a mí a las actividades religiosas de esta significativa fecha, específicamente a la misa y procesión; recorrriendo calles cercanas y el templo. En este día especial luciamos nuestras mejores ropas e inclusive algún estreno. Momentos que recuerdo con nostalgia y alegría; ya que viví y disfruté de esta tradición. Formando parte de mis valores religiosos y culturales.
Esta imponente y significativa Iglesia tiene un valor Histórico importante por lo que debemos mantener vivo en nuestros corazones y de alguna manera contribuir como ciudadanos en la conservacion y promoción de esta herencia, hermoso tesoro patrimonio de Cumaná y toda Venezuela.
As a child I remember my mother taking my siblings and me to the religious activities of this significant date, specifically to the mass and procession; walking through nearby streets and the temple. On this special day we wore our best clothes and even some brand new ones. Moments that I remember with nostalgia and joy; since I lived and enjoyed this tradition. Being part of my religious and cultural values.
This imposing and significant church has an important historical value so we must keep alive in our hearts and somehow contribute as citizens in the conservation and promotion of this heritage, beautiful heritage treasure of Cumana and all Venezuela.
Por generaciones esta iglesia ha sido testigo de eventos significativos para todos los cumaneses, matrimonios eclesiásticos, comuniones, bautizos, confirmaciones, además de otros actos importantes de reafirmacion de la Fe Católica. Asimismo, "La Iglesia Santa Inés" y sus alrededores ha sido centro de encuentros culturales, símbolos de nuestra Identidad. A lo largo de la historia esta majestuosa e importante reliquia de gran valor espiritual, historico y cultural es un reflejo de lo que somos como personas.
Nuestra querida iglesia tiene mucho que contar y que debemos conocer. Los invito a leer más de este monumento historico y religioso de nuestra ciudad. For generations this church has witnessed significant events for all the people of Cuman, ecclesiastical marriages, communions, baptisms, confirmations, as well as other important acts of reaffirmation of the Catholic Faith. Amiga @belena2128 que gusto me da saludarte. La Iglesia Santa Inés tiene mucha historia y es protagonista de muchos eventos y recuerdos hermosos en mi familia. Mi mamá tomó allí su primera comunión y además desde niña participaba en muchas actividades; mi hermana se casó allí y yo fuí du madrina fue todo muy hermoso. Después cuando nos tuvo a nosotros sus hijos nos llevaba con regularidad a las celebraciones en honor a Santa Inés que es nuestra Patrona. Me siento orgullosa de ser parte de estas vivencias y costumbres religiosas que son oírte de nuestra Identidad. Me encantó tenerte en mi post y muy agradecida por siempre ctus lindos comentarios 💕.

Hola amiga bella, esta es una iglesia hermosa, ahora sus alrededores están maa bonitos que nunca.
Aunque antes se disfrutaban más laa actividades religiosas y culturales que se hacían por esa zona.
Para nosotros las fechas relacionadas con la Virgen de Santa Inés, también son memorables y como ustedes también hasta estrenos guardaba para esta fechas para mis niñas, jejeje.

Es uno de nuestros tesoros más hermosos como cumaneses. La historia revela lo importante que es esta reliquia y además en honor a Santa Inés ejemplo de pureza, firmeza y fe.
