Peek A Boo - Monomad challenge

I was a little bit surprise that this beetle want to stay quite a long time when I saw it. I was a little skeptical at first, since most of the time when I saw this beetle, it flew very fast and right away when I tried to get close to it.

The funny thing was this beetle tried to play peek-a-boo with me. : ) Don't get me wrong, I am not an insect-speaking person, but rather my interpretation of how this beetle behaves when I tried to photograph it.

it seems like it was hiding his face behind a small stick which it was crawling at, but it forgot that his body was way bigger than the stick. And then here you can see in the first photo it tried to scare me after hiding its face behind that stick.

Here it tried to hide its face behind the stick. So cute isn't it. : )

Maybe a little stunt won't hurt right, it has wings so when it fell, it can just open its wings and fly away. But it decided to go up and down on the stick and also into the bigger branch.

Maybe a little good bye in the end?
