Week 198 - Is it enough to have my own motivation or do I respond better to external motivation?

Hello friends of the community ❤️ I wish you a happy day, and I invite you to know a little about a new topic, and the one I chose is a very interesting one for me and I think for all those who are dedicated to create any type of content or simply perform any activity that requires our perseverance, effort and above all motivation for this goal or objective does not die or remain halfway. Well today I am going to answer that and a little more with the following question:

❤️Do you respond better to external motivation or are you self-motivated?❤️

Speaking from my experience, I have to confess that at one point I came to need an external motivation, that outside voice to repeat and remind me what I wanted to achieve, because it is worth all the effort and time I invest, where I want to go and if this really fills me and makes me happy. All these points include much in how alive we keep the motivation, because without desire or love of art as they say, hardly get somewhere, all these aspects in the end form one to be able to push us towards those goals we want.

In my case I remember that it was the exercise, and I tried but on my own I never got to finish and always abandoned halfway. Until one day I stopped to think about what I really wanted, if this change was for physical or health purposes, and making that comparison helped me to realize that while achieving a change in my appearance would improve my self-esteem and security, the health issue, feeling good, with energy and vitality when making efforts, work and projects both now and in the future would focus me more towards something real and really worthwhile, enough to keep me motivated to achieve those goals.

Another point that I think is also key when it comes to gaining or losing self-motivation is to set a very long-term goal or objective, because this can become tiring and discouraging. So I on that side and as I have the experience of leaving it halfway, I like to make the plans in parts, not to prolong it for a long time, but to peeled proximity, and thus our motivation will always be active and the expectation of what will be achieved little by little, in my case with exercise what I do is to put me close review dates, an approximate would be 3 months which is when more or less any change is noticed, but being faithful to our goal and focused on the result we want to achieve, for me that motivation is enough. ... although sometimes a push and a dose of other people's reality that reminds us what we are and where we are going is not too much 😁, and although it may not seem like it, our mental health is also grateful for it.

I hope you liked this little story in my participation in the round number #198, if you want you can share your story too. See you in a next time, happy new year and happy weekend!!!💕.
