New design, new print! - Combining ideas from my favorite cartoons [ESP/ENG]

Hola amigos de Hive ❤️ hoy les quiero compartir un nuevo proyecto de dibujo y diseño sobre tela. Y como era de esperarse, se trata de uno inspirado en dibujos y programas animados que veía de niña y ahora en la actualidad le tengo mucha nostalgia y cariño.

Contándoles un poco de como surgió la idea, fue mientras buscaba en pinterest diseños de éstos dibujos y como combinarían sobre fondos de colores, y justo me encontré con esta que les muestro, del programa "Coraje el perro cobarde", me pareció muy original el diseño de su personaje principal junto con el logo del canal que lo transmitía y que durante mucho tiempo formó parte de mi canal favorito a la hora de ver mis programas animados, entre ellos este que aunque era bastante bizarro y aterrador para un niño 😅, igualmente causaba mucha curiosidad y entretenida ver la valentía de un perro llamado "coraje" que le asustaba todo lo que le sucedía a su familia pero que aún así arriesgaba su vida por salvarlos. Así que de alguna manera crear y llevar puesta una camisa con este diseño me haría recordar esos bonitos tiempos y creo que con esa ilusión y ánimos no hay mejores ingredientes para empezar y crear el mejor y mas bonito proyecto hecho por nosotros y personalizado a nuestro gusto 😊.

Lo primero que hice fue dibujar sobre papel el diseño que les comenté antes, asegurando que este sea del tamaño adecuado o el que queramos sobre nuestra camisa. Luego para calcar el diseño yo uso una hoja especial llamada papel carbón, coloco una sobre otra, repaso las líneas sobre la tela, y cuando retiramos todo nos quedarían las líneas guías lo suficientemente visibles y claras para empezar a pintar.

Primero empecé con el logo, que era relativamente más fácil ya que solo era jugar con el blanco y negro, era un poco confuso por el cambio de color entre cuadro y letra, pero si estamos bien concentrados no debería haber equivocación 😁.

Ahora sí, pasamos a pintar el personaje principal, para obtener su color tuve que mezclar blanco con fucsia ya que no tengo ese tono claro de rosa, luego pinte poco a poco el resto del cuerpo y sus pequeños detalles como el brillo marrón en la nariz y orejas, las venas azules en sus ojos, luego tuve que agregar varias capas de blanco en sus grandes ojos y por último deje el color negro, tanto para terminar de pintar su cuerpo como para terminar de darle ese toque final con el delineado a todo el diseño.

Cómo detalle opcional y en caso de que lo tengan, yo use nacar o gel escarchado para darle brillo a algunas partes del diseño, como fue el caso de las partes blancas del logo y también a sus ojos que creo llamarían mucho la atención y harían resaltarlo un poco más.

Y aquí les muestro el trabajo terminado, con un lindo diseño personalizado combinando aquellos personajes y programas favoritos y que la hacen especial para mí 🩷!!...espero compartirles muy pronto nuevos trabajos como este que vaya creando, con mucho cariño me despido y será hasta la próxima!!💕

Hello friends of Hive ❤️ today I want to share with you a new project of drawing and design on fabric. And as expected, it is one inspired by cartoons and cartoon shows that I used to watch as a child and now I have a lot of nostalgia and affection for it.

I was looking on pinterest for designs of these drawings and how they would combine on colored backgrounds, and I just came across this one that I show you, from the program "Courage the cowardly dog", I found very original the design of its main character along with the logo of the channel that transmitted it and that for a long time was part of my favorite channel when watching my animated programs, among them this one that although it was quite bizarre and scary for a child 😅, it was still very curious and entertaining to see the bravery of a dog named "courage" who was scared of everything that happened to his family but still risked his life to save them. So somehow creating and wearing a shirt with this design would make me remember those beautiful times and I think that with that illusion and encouragement there are no better ingredients to start and create the best and most beautiful project made by us and customized to our taste 😊.

• Basic shirt (pink)
• Acrylic or fabric paints (fuchsia, white, blue, brown, brown, black)
• Flat brushes
• liner brush (for outlining)
• frosting gel
• design pattern

The first thing I did was to draw on paper the design I mentioned before, making sure it is the right size or the one we want on our shirt. Then to trace the design I use a special sheet called carbon paper, I place one on top of the other, go over the lines on the fabric, and when we remove everything we would have the guide lines visible and clear enough to start painting.

First I started with the logo, which was relatively easier since it was just playing with black and white, it was a bit confusing because of the color change between frame and letter, but if we are well focused there should be no mistake 😁.

With this work I also had to experiment using a new material, the special glue for fabric which is ideal for gluing crystals as in the case of this design, here I wanted to add those details on the edge of the number to highlight it, as well as in some parts of the side of the kitten to give it more life.

And here I show you the finished work, with a nice custom design combining those favorite characters and programs that make it special for me 🩷!!!...I hope to share with you very soon new works like this that I create, with love I say goodbye and will be until next time!!!💕
