Saludos estimados amigos, en aras de continuar aprendiendo, me conecté al Espacio Twitter para asistir al conversatorio "El rol de la mujer en la Web3", el cual contó con la moderación de la compañera @audiarmisg y como invitadas especiales @arlettemsalase y @criptomommy. La primera, además, de ser una hiver con bastante experiencia, es embajadora de Criptocuriosas y Platzi. La segunda invitada se llama Briyith y es fundadora de la comunidad Womenbiz, la cual tiene más de 700 mujeres como integrantes.

Estas chicas nos contaron sus experiencias en el mundo cripto y sus pasos en la Web3. Como podemos observar, el rol de la mujer es cada vez más importante en esta era digital. Así lo comprobaron estas mujeres, quienes lideran proyectos, mostrándose empoderadas y aguerridas, dos palabras que definen sus cualidades según lo manifestaron ellas mismas.

Greetings dear friends, in order to continue learning, I connected to Twitter Space to attend the discussion "The role of women in Web3", which was moderated by @audiarmisg and as special guests @arlettemsalase and @criptomommy. The first one, besides being a hiver with a lot of experience, is an ambassador of Criptocuriosas and Platzi. The second guest is called Briyith and is the founder of the Womenbiz community, which has more than 700 women as members.

These girls told us about their experiences in the crypto world and their steps in Web3. As we can see, the role of women is increasingly important in this digital era. This was proven by these women, who are leading projects, showing themselves to be empowered and brave, two words that define their qualities, as they themselves stated.

En su intervención, Briyith manifestó que todas las personas deben alzar su voz, independiente del sexo. Tener una buena autoestima te hará creer en ti mismo y ver todo el potencial que tienes para dar. Todo es cuestión de atreverse a realizar los proyectos que tienes en mente, buscar alianzas e interactuar con otras personas, esos son dos pasos para el camino del éxito.

Asimismo, Arlette puntualizó que la brecha entre hombre y mujeres sí existe, que en algunos de los eventos que ella ha asistido se ha percatado que la mayoría de los programadores son hombres. El sexo masculino estaba dominando el universo cripto, sin embargo, esta realidad se ha ido modificando, pues el sexo femenino cada vez más dice presente en las actividades relacionadas con la Web3.

In her speech, Briyith stated that everyone should raise their voice, regardless of gender. Having good self-esteem will make you believe in yourself and see all the potential you have to give. It is all a matter of daring to carry out the projects you have in mind, seeking alliances and interacting with other people, these are two steps on the road to success.

Arlette also pointed out that the gap between men and women does exist, that in some of the events she has attended she has noticed that most of the programmers are men. The male sex was dominating the crypto universe, however, this reality has been changing, as the female sex is increasingly present in activities related to the Web3.

Ella resaltó que Hive es la plataforma más inclusiva en la cual ha estado, pues aquí lo que importa es el contenido de calidad que presenten las personas. La reputación se forjará a partir del valor que agregues a la plataforma con tus escritos, fotos o videos. La colmena forma parte de la era Web3, un lugar donde podemos desarrollar nuestras habilidades e impulsar al crecimiento de la colmena.

Otro punto interesante que se abordó fue el Síndrome de Impostor, el cual se puede definir como una sensación de inseguridad en cuanto al logro de las metas en el campo laboral. Las chicas manifestaron que, alguna vez, sintieron esto, lo cual hizo que no avanzaran, logrando una incómoda parálisis. Recalcaron que muchas mujeres se dejan atrapar por este síndrome y por eso no asumen el liderazgo, por lo cual hicieron un llamado a confiar en el talento de cada uno, hacer una introspección y dar rienda suelta a la creatividad. Todos tenemos cualidades que podemos continuar desarrollando.

Considero que este tipo de actividades nos sirve para nutrir nuestros conocimientos con respecto a los términos inherentes a la blockchain y la nueva era del internet. Del mismo modo, nos permite conocer otros proyectos y comunidades que están funcionado fuera de Hive, así expandir nuestros horizontes. Por lo tanto, procuraré asistir estas actividades, el mundo del aprendizaje es amplio y tenemos que abordarlo.

She emphasized that Hive is the most inclusive platform she has been on, because what matters here is the quality content that people submit. Reputation will be forged from the value you add to the platform with your writings, photos or videos. The hive is part of the Web3 era, a place where we can develop our skills and help the hive grow.

Another interesting point that was addressed was the Impostor Syndrome, which can be defined as a feeling of insecurity regarding the achievement of goals in the work field. The girls stated that, at one time or another, they felt this, which caused them not to advance, achieving an uncomfortable paralysis. They stressed that many women allow themselves to be trapped by this syndrome and that is why they do not assume leadership, for which they called for trusting in one's own talent, introspection and giving free rein to creativity. We all have qualities that we can continue to develop.

I believe that this type of activity serves to nurture our knowledge regarding the terms inherent to the blockchain and the new era of the internet. Likewise, it allows us to get to know other projects and communities that are working outside of Hive, thus expanding our horizons. Therefore, I will endeavor to attend these activities, the world of learning is wide and we need to address it.
