EDSvote update #53 | The Game Changes Next Week! 😲

Welcome all to this week's EDSvote update where we look at a range of different things. Please follow the @eddie-earner account to make sure all our reports are going into your feed and you can easily stay updated on your investment.

What is EDSvote?
Eds-vote is an account that people can delegate HIVE POWER to. In return for their delegation, they will receive EDS tokens each Monday.

The delegated HP will be used to curate content on HIVE and provide small upvotes for those that hold over 100 EDS tokens. Delegating HIVE POWER to @eds-vote will not result in an upvote. This is not a delegation to upvote service. It is a way to distribute the remaining reallocated EDS into circulation.

What are EDS tokens?
EDS tokens are HIVE income tokens that are pegged and backed to 1 HIVE each. They pay out weekly dividends every Monday based on 12% of the total powered-up HIVE balance of the @eddie-earner account. This is currently paying out an APY to token holders of roughly 35%.

Report #53

Let's have a look at the numbers in chart form as this is the best way to see performance and predict the future.

Look at that, another big boost this week as we got a 20k delegation last week. It's hard to believe we are so close to having 300k of HP delegated in. This far exceeds my expectations but im loving it. Let's keep the fire going and pour more gas!!

For the second week, the curation APY is crap. This is because the big 100k delegation came through on 2 Sundays ago and we only started to receive curation rewards from this on Sunday just past so this report only includes 1 day of rewards with the extra 100k.

Next week will be a completely different story. According to hivestats.io, @eds-vote will earn 420 HP from curation over the next 7 days. I think we'll finish closer to 400 HP next week because this hivestats number includes the juicy 20k delegation we received a few days after the 100k delegation.

We might not get back to 8% + for next week but we should at least be 7%+.

BOOM, new all-time high curation rewards and believe me when I say, this week will look small next week when rewards are 400ish HP. Remember this weeks rewards are based on 6 days of having around 145k delegated in and 1 day of having 245k delegated in. Next week will be 3 days at 245k and 4 days at 265k.

I've not even checked to see the size of the upvote yet, probally cause I dont care. Im happier than a pig rolling around in crap already knowing we're starting to earn a game-changing bank for @eddie-earner and issuing EDS tokens to strong hands.

Same here and eds-vote issues the most EDS it has to date. 129.95 this week. I am aware for the past 2 weeks, the amount of EDS received per HP delegated has declined but as explained above, we need to wait for curation rewards to come through before things get back to something more normal again. When a big delegation is received, the model takes from 1 hand.

Next week, we should be minting closer to 200 EDS which is a 50% increase from today, a really big jump. So if you received 1 EDS this week from delegating HP than next week, you should receive closer to 1.5 EDS.

On the flipside, when a big delegation is pulled, the model gives back to the other hand and we see the curation APY moon with remaining delegators receiving boosted EDS rewards for 1-2 weeks.

Round-Up

I never thought I would be writing this so soon, after 1 year but... let's get @eds-vote to 300k!

I am aware the recent big delegation for 100k came from SPI but even without that, the account would still have over 170k HP being delegated in. We have received a 20k HP delegation recently and a whole bunch of 1-3k HP delegations from @shanibeers Saturday Savers Club members.

Everything is good. The account's voting power is increasing again but toward 90% so no more reductions are required in voting percentages for a while which is good. I think delegators and people who hold over 100 EDS are happy enough to get a smaller percentage upvote if it's worth more.

@eds-vote is killing it and im really looking forward to next week because when I can see the rewards we'll be getting I can use them numbers to get a good ballpark figure for when EDS flip for profit and more importantly APY. Things happen slowly but its nice to see the finish line get closer. @eds-vote, @eds-d and miners are like shortcuts to the finish line 😉
